I don't like cake. I've always been an ice cream fan. That said, Carrot Cake was the only cake that I would eat when I was a kid. These days I will also accept Ice Cream Cake as well. My sister in law buys these very decedent multi-layer rectangle shaped chocolate cakes that are smooth and rich and incredibly insane tasting, and I'll eat that too once or twice a year. I haven't bought myself any cake for probably 20 years and the last time it was Carrot. If I ever decide to spend money on cake for myself again it'll be Carrot more than likely. I pulled a Lutra raised foil from the one collector I opened, was pretty stoked about that. Played 2 pre releases did really well but opened nothing except a single three tree, nothing in the set really seems to have any value or will go anywhere I don't think. Kind of like MKM in that way but at least it's fun to play. Maybe I'm wrong because it's incredibly popular but it looks like the stuff isn't valuable and even the stuff that is priced high right now doesn't seem like it will hold it's value like three tree for instance.

The theme and art of Bloomburrow is top-notch, and you can get some great cards with dope treatments… if you open Collector Boosters. This set highlights just how terrible Play Booster are. Compared to Draft they are less consistent and lead to stacked packs and to open for fun the chance to pull cool stuff, like Special Guests, is next to non existed and you miss out on Commander and reprint sheet cards, unlike Set Boosters before even though you pay the same amount of money for them. Hope WotC ditches Play and goes back to Draft and Set Booster, Collector are stacked, which would be fine if the other options are comparably good.

Think ive found one of my favourite card combos for 1v1 ever and its just soooo dirty. Stalwart Realmwarden and ephemerate to stack the Realmwardens effect (adds 2 mana cost to everything but creatures) . if you get the combo going early, its likely they wont ever get to cast anything but creatures in a match. Am i evil?
