Large devastating waves already have perfectly working words to describe the phenomena and most languages already had their own words for "Large Waves". But since they are so common though in Japan, they came up with a name for them. "Tsunami." Now the Japanese don't have to say - "Tasukete! Totemo ōkina nami ga machi o hakai shimasu!" (Help! So this theme is being repeated with Feedback except American Edition. For example in Guild Pact on MTGs official website the french translation for Parallectric Feedback from Guild Pact is Rétroaction parallectrique, so why is it still just Feedback on the older set? Well because static friction from an amplifier is something we NAMED Feedback. Because its like the static from the mic providing feedback to itself through the amp. Other languages had their own words for this phenomena already. Feedback is a name, thus remains the same through-out translation. The English word "Feedback" as in static translates to "Feedback". The English word for "feedback" as in like verbal or written feedback - is translated as "retroazione" (Hopefully an Italiano can fact check me on that.) Did they ever actually print an Italian Guild Pact though? Even MTG doesn't have a picture to post of an Italian Parallectric Feedback.
