Excellent video I learned fpv last year and I completely lost my avata 3 months ago, now I building my own one

TRYP simulator is also really good. Played 10 hours FPV when I bought my avata recently and went straight out to fly full manual first time with no problems even in really strong winds. I feel the winds are the biggest difference from the sim to irl

Are the new DJI goggles 3 and controller 3 worth getting over the 2's?? I'm looking to start flying so i don't even have a drone yet but i haven't heard anyone talk about the 3's

Yall just hate DJI. I started with the avatar and have since spread out to prebuilt and now even building my own. It was something familiar and a great middle ground between normal drones and fpv.

Great video. Thanks. Can you use DJI Goggles 3 with a simulator? If yes, how to connect it?

Quick question: where can find the "case" that you put on the avata?

would i be able to use my oculus quest 3 in the simulator?
@DavidFPV3609 ай бұрын
Don't get the dji controller, it has smaller gimbals than you would normally want to have and plus, if you loose video there is no "switching to angle mode and giving the quad some throttle to regain video signal" as they both directly connect to the o3 and therefore if the video signal is lost, rc signal will be gone too. Ofc, some ppl like it but I and most other experienced pilots would not recommend it.

So which one should be bought?
@DavidFPV3609 ай бұрын
@@janmar00As said in the video the tbs tango 2 is a solid controller, altough I would strongly recommend using elrs instead of crossfire. For a beginner it pretty much doesn't make any difference except that there are way more controllers with elrs built in already, the receivers are way cheaper and there are many manufacturers as elrs is open source. I personally would recommend the Radiomaster zorro, tx16s or boxer.

@@DavidFPV360 I'm considering starting with the Avata 2 as it is the most beginner friendly, using DJI Controller 3, and sticking with O3 in the next drone to maximize the controller. I think ELRS (Boxer) is a better option, but that means I would use the DJI Controller only for the Avata, which sounds expensive. Plus, I'm a bit scared of BetaFlight configuration, binding, bricking, etc.... Do you have any advice?
@DavidFPV3603 ай бұрын
@@ivan.vatovic It's a tough question, as the Avata 2 itself is a solid and userfriendly drone and therefore good to find out if flying FPV is something you want to continue doing. On the other side it's not that great, as you will probably often crash (like any other beginner) and would need DJI to repair the drone for you (expensive). The Avata 2 with 3 batteries, controller, and goggles (all new) would set u back around 1350€. I personally would recommend the SpeedyBee Master 5 V2 with the O3 air unit and elrs (around 550€). As goggles the dji goggles 2 or V2 (bought my V2's used for about 300€). And for a controller lets say the Radiomaster Boxer (about 110€). Then some lipos, a charger, some props and you'd still be under the Avata budget. The Speedybee quad comes pre setup and you'd pretty much would just have to bind it (was like that for me). Joshua Bardwell (on yt) will help you with almost any problem you could encounter.

@@ivan.vatovic Troubleshooting, repairing and tweaking everything so that it works properly is something that just needs to be done when flying fpv, but eventually you will get the hang of it and you surely don't need to be afraid as there are tutorials on any problem on here.

I’ve been wanting to get into fpv for a while now but where I live you need a license to fly drones over 250 g anywhere but I’m not old enough to be able to get the license 😭😭😭
