@@captain_dsz6049 Thing is, none of the Rival teams take inspiration from the Anime. Though he does have a completely different final team for all three Eeveelutions, his Vaporeon team takes inspiration from the Manga, his Flareon team is based on his team in the regular Yellow version, and his Jolteon team is based on his traditional red/blue team, and the team he takes into Gen 2.

Or it depends on his eeveeolution. The Starter he gets compliments the eeveelution Jolteon = Blastoise Flareon = Venasaur Vaporeon = Charizard

It was a hot topic for us, but we felt like it would not make it feel Yellow anymore. But we did make a Raichu available post game for completion sake. Fun Fact: when we did allow it in one of our testing runs, we saw that Pikachu evolved into Rhydon. Rhydon is pokemon 0 in the code, so it seems to be that the og devs put a fail safe in it that you can't get a raichu in yellow ever.

So, I was playing on PC. I used the mGBA emulator. I've never emulated on an Android, unfortunately.

Because his project was all about redeeming Pokemon Yellow. There's nothing really wrong with the remakes but Yellow is kind of jank, so he fixed it.
