9:05 Scot, historically speaking it would be in a zig zag so if an artillery, mortar shell would land, the shrapnel would not kill or wound many people inside the trench. And the vickers is a fixed MG just so ya know. Daily fact that no on asked for.

My Map ratings: map 1: 3/5 (nicer atmosphere) map 2: 1/5 (ugly terrain and props) map 3: 2/5 (very rudimentary trenches and too wide, surrounded by trees gives a cramped atmosphere) map 4: 2/5 (too bare boned and little to no features, not a lot of choices for dynamic gameplay) map 5: 3/5 (good detailing, especially the sleeping quarters, but being surrounded by mountains feels claustrophobic and very unrealistic + wide trenches are bad) Winner: Me, my maps are the best (play plz or ill unsub)

@@grayanddevpdx I'd give it a 3.5/5, particularly because I really like the sandbags and the detail on the tables of the trench. I would suggest using some different buildings besides farmer houses for the village, and the trench maybe make it thinner so it doesnt look like it was bulldozed. Not a bad start tho, keep it up

For western front trenches 3 I like how the trenches are steep because ww1 trenches were very steep and wide and i love how made it look like the trenches were flooded but no mans land seems very blank

at 9:05 you said something a bit dumb, im sry but first off the trenches were very long they were 40000km in eu. You said "the trenches werent long because you could just get down there with a Vickers machinegun" thats incorrect you could not carry a vickers machinegun to another trench because they were so heavy and took long to set up.

I think making the rating out of 5, doesn't really Work, as 4&5 is like really good while 3is mid and 2 is low, and there are just map wit really good stuf and just some mistake, making it like a Good map but not really, and because of that the rating end up doesn't resemble the quality of the map, i think the rating should be out of Ten, like 7,3/10 6,4 and ectsedra or an out of a hundred (Sorry for bad spelling)
