This is the BIGGEST problem in MoP Remix and Blizzard needs to make it work for everyone. Casual players will only be able to get a handful of the rewards and that sucks.

at which point do you complain that you're not invited to normal raids so you cant grind bronze? Also, with that line of thinking there's no point in gearing in any expansion, or even a season, because all that power will go away and you'll have to grind new gear again. I just upgrade gear, oneshot everything, get invited everywhere and have fun while doing so. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Cosmetics are way more btw. 1,609,600 Bronze + 42 Bones of Mannoroth it's 103,400 bronze for all the new mounts. For ilvl upgrades, it's more too. as weapons cost 9k per upgrade.

There are people who didn't touch a single hotfixed farm like frogs or any other hyperspawn, who are already maxed out 556 iLvl, and have been since about 1 week into the event. If ALL you are doing to get bronze daily is jus the daily rewards, then you're playing incorrectly and obviously you won't be able to do everything. Blizzard wants you to do raids as well, doing the raids on normal every day and heroic once you have the gear awards a lot of bronze too. A full clear of SoO Mythic is about 30k bronze, which you can do every single day. One round of upgrading every single item by 1 step is around 35k bronze, so once you're able to join SoO Mythic you can upgrade all your gear once per day if you full clear that + get the daily 9k and do nothing else.

Correct and I’m doing that content. I think people misunderstood that I didn’t have a lot of time to game, but I do. I’m thinking about those that work a 9-5 and have 3 kids with only an hour or so to spare for gaming once the little ones are down for the night. But yea I’m racking in the bronze but it’s definitely a grind. Thanks for the breakdown. Great comment.

While it’s fun at endgame, when you break down the layers, yea, it’s a grind to hold people over till TWW. But I’m feeling OP now that I’m at the endgame level. How far have you dug into it so far?

@@Quaylin I'm at 396 ivl, and have spent about 200k to get there. While the power gain is considerable, I can't recoup that 200k solo. It would take me probably another 50ilvl before I can solo normal bosses with some degree of effectiveness, but even then, group content is faster. I still have to work on Taivan and KSM in DF so I don't really have the time to run every single raid on normal and heroic every day. Plus, there's Cata classic and SOD which I now effectively cannot even try because Timerunning and DF are taking up all of my time. It's just very poorly planned.

It's not Blizzard's goal to let us max out our gear and get every mount, transmog, etc, before remix ends.That would reduce the satisfaction of "achieving or earning" our gear, etc. But I do agree that the cost of gear versus purchasing mounts is lopsided. We're forced to choose between investing bronze for gear upgrades or for purchasing non gear items, Many players are complaining about this.

Yea it’s expensive. I disagree however that not maxing out or getting every cosmetic would reduce the satisfaction. That’s like saying you’ve got 8 minutes to run a mile, it you stop short within the time limit. Not very satisfying when you just needed that extra boost to win the race.

I 100% agree. The timing was WAY off. Im going hard on remix (and it’s fun now after 31 hours in for me) but im way behind on cata. Haven’t even started leveling.

I respect that. I also think that you can have what they said they were gonna give and still have the event be a great one. They needed more end game content. The Heroic and Mythic raids aren't enough. A "rift" system like D3 or "Nightmare dungeon" like D4 would have been fun. Call it Mythic +, sure, but some changes to running them solo since you're so powerful would have been a nice change and kept people playing longer.

I think it’s meant to be choice. You can either max out or get all the cosmetics. Personally, I’ll get some I level and some cosmetics but as a active duty LTC in the army with a wide and 5 kids… maxing out either isn’t in the cards.

They are also being more obnoxious than ever before in preventing players from playing any other way than the only way they want you to play. Now there's also this new motto of, "Yay! They should have been two seperate currencies that you earn in equal amounts for everything. That way you had some currency to upgrade your gear and get more powerful so content became easier over time and some currency to spend on cosmetics/mounts/etc. At least that would have been my solution so that players can progress faster while also getting the things they want at a decent pace.

The more I play the more I wish the bronze was account linked and not character linked. That way I could farm with my main to get bronze faster to build up an alt.

Best way to do this now is to ahve an alt or 2 dedicated to bronze farming for cosmetics and have a main that upgrades gear but still thats going to take some time

Not a bad idea but you’re right, that’s gonna take some time. Personally I’m in a position where I have time to do it, but I’m thinking about those that have a traditional 9-5 and won’t be able to dedicate the time needed to 100% everything.

@@Quaylin most time effective way I’ve found is to get an alt to 25 (takes under an hour) then do a daily Vault normal raid to increase XP bonus by 12% per boss kill. In a few days you will hit 70 and get the 40k bronze bonus plus 30-40k from kills. I’ve been able to level 4 alts very efficiently this way. Today I finished purchasing every mount and all the class armor/weapons. You can just spend 1 hour daily for a week to max an alt and generate 80k.

Blizzard is terrified to give players more bronze, so that they won't finish their collections and leave the event. This is not a proper way to do it, by artificially gatekeeping upgrades and collections. Also, the upgrade cost is insane, and it shouldn't require bronze in the first place. OR if it did require bronze they should have done something like, use bronze for upgrades and 1k on each armor part to it to FULL. Am i surprised that it turned out this way? Nop, hoping for more fixes while we still have time. PS : (Why the hell would the upgrades cost so much in a limited time event in the first place??????)

What i did was make one character, lvl to 70 and did some grind. Got like 200k bronze. Now im doing alts = 40k free bronze when you reach lvl 70, use those alts to buy transmogs +a few mounts left. I will maybe gear up if the time is there, i spend 80k on gearing up. But now i focus on mounts/transmogs.

You may mention that other sources exist, but you still make it sound as if they are meaningless.

I can see where people can get upset about it. I try to look at it this way. Frog farmers are the ones that are able to pump through the raids fast, which means you get the raid done faster. Hope that helps. I does for me.

Everyone has their own subjective opinion on time though.

Who cares about being max level. Its pointless in remix. Just play the game. Why do you even want max gear? You dont need it at all in any way. Plus how many people in regular wow are even max gear? Very few. I have already gotten almost every toy and mount I want without even buying anything yet. There is still 2 and half months left. Plenty of time to get everything you want. Just a couple gear upgrades is plenty dont need max gear at all.

Very few players "care" about character power in such a short event, most will probably prioritize cosmetics. I'd submit that the point of having any system in place, in a game, which is entertainment, is for players to be able to enjoy it. "Here's a bunch of possible upgrades, and HERE'S the reason why you'll probably have to just ignore them." Ok, cool, thanks. 😂

Because I have all tanks, without tweaks, and past level 67-68 there is no group content that doesn't feel like I'm doing +20 mythic plus in greens. I'm forced to farm bronze by creating alts and leveling them to 70 - which wouldn't be so annoying if it weren't, I feel, a compelled way of farming, like, this is how we want you to do it, and we'll hunt you down if you try anything else...

I was looking out for the people who work a 9-5 and have 3 kids. I actually have a lot more time to play than people think so I’ve just been putting in the hours. Once I hit 70, it was off to raids through lfr, then once your gear level hits around 380 or so in total, then you start looking for normal raids. You’ll get a frog farmer in there for sure and they’ll pretty much carry you through it and it feels awesome. At least it does for me. But now I’m doing the big dps and it’s fun.
