I have been playing this game for a while, and it is getting better. I have tried to survive in my house, and what works in a city does not work in suburbia. You have to change your strategy depending on what is around you. I love the new storyline and am replaying to try it again after messing it up at another location.

Played today for 8 hours it’s a GREAT UPDATE!!!! I especially love the build my own building thing and area search

This is a superb update, and the 'Vaccine Quest' is not straightforward to pull off either. I won't explain why as it will give spoilers. Repairmen work really well too - just adapt the building, assign 5 or 6 crew & set the priorities for them. Wonderful! The Custom Buildings changes things up research wise too - you need Advanced Construction to do this, which is often not prioritized but now needs to be. There is also a completely new research chain for the Vaccine, which needs to be unlocked first - again, no spoilers given. I fully agree that squads should be able to carry more ammo too. Especially on the Vaccine Quest!

You can put ammo in their inventory and see if that helps? I haven’t tried it for the vaccine quest but just the first thought that came to mind 😊

I like the game enough right now and have enjoyed what I’ve played, but I think this game has so much more potential to give Also while I doubt multiplayer will be added it is cool to think of creating a server or something like it and being able to travel to each others plots, raiding or trading

My perfect setup for weapons is claw hammer for melee, a tool and weapon in one. .22 pistol for gun. Easy ammo and maintenance. Especially being UK based lol

if i were to survive in a zombie apocalypse, the best place would be an island, as for weapon a bow or crossbow would be the best as it is rather easy to make more ammunition, it is silent and can be very deadly.

You can route your squads now I believe you can route them for up to 30 unexplored buildings in an area

Honestly. Im not sure where id want to locate. I wouldnt mind my hometown although it has grown alot since childhood. So probably not. And well i live in cali XD But probably in Colorado somewhere Or maybe even washington state. Only thing is i would want to be in the wilderness or a small town. But have decent access like a days walk or drive from somesort of large TOWN not city hust towb. Sure more infected but if skart you have access to alot more supplies then being just off the grid ^-^ For weapons id definitly use a bow. Not a compound just your traditional like recurve bow. Even though i have a compund. A recurve qould juat make well making arrows easier XD although id defibitly always keep a large knife and small pistol like a 9mm or something just in case
