I like the lil lens flair on the priest and kid at 8:35. kind of an angelic look.

Some beautiful moments captured here Robin, especially in the churches…. the dappled light and unguarded moments etc. This videos raises an interesting dilemma I think. Street photos are fair game, but ‘street’ photos in a church? Obviously church and the faith practiced therein is a very personal and private thing, and it’s obvious there were some people quite annoyed with you poking around with a camera. Having said that, a lot of people with their phones.
@nilzthorbo5437 Жыл бұрын
7:52 as you can clearly see you annoy people a lot in the middle of their holy place. please respect their intimacy. they take that place very serious. way more than you do! it's forbidden to take photos in a lot of churches in europe nowadays. and that's because of people with no respect for the moment and place...

What's the small flash you're using here?

POLL: Regarding YOUR OWN PERSONAL ETHiCS, do you find it in poor taste and/or offensive to photograph people in a church/house of worship? Please RESPECTFULLY answer below.

To me this is too intimate moment to take photos of strangers.

Do you prefer the Q3 to the Q2M?

For what I do, yes.

@@therealsirrobin would you pick it up over the Q2M even if you're shooting in mono?

This is one of your best ever videos. Well done. The church shots are amazing. How do you find AFc compared to AFs? Is it now improved after the firmware upgrades?

A nice episode, thank you for sharing us. One point i felt like when you were shooting with Q the photos were less noisier than with Q3. Is it something with the setting of Q3 or am i wrong about it?

As always an interesting vieo with some great photography. May I ask, which flash are you using with your Q3 ? Thank you.

Hey :-) Was für ein Blitz ist das? Sieht so klein aus und passt scheinbar perfekt zur Q.

Thank you, for this great video. Question: Why don''t you try do hold the camera to your chest and just take the photos more quickly and without holding up the camera? Just to not be so visible.
@ForeverBrooklynNYC Жыл бұрын
how do you compose your photos that way?
@petercarlsson6606 Жыл бұрын
@@ForeverBrooklynNYC You take the pic and compose in post. Can render very nice results, without the typical "camera face" look of the objects.

Looks like some harsh feedback on the church photos, can’t say I blame them. The street shots were nice though.

Fantastic. Beautiful video and stills in that church. The singing and the akoustics really emphasised the mood. Thanks for this great trip through that , for me, unknown city.

Another amazing video from you, Robin. 😎All the photographs you captured in this film look beautiful…I especially love the look of your Church pictures. Something I don’t see everyday the lighting was exquisite and I found them to be captivating. Thank you for creating and sharing this film. Looking forward to watching your next video. ✌️

Really like your stuff usually but I think the recent shots at the church and the school were not transporting any good story just headhunting. Streetphotography doesn’t always need consent but surely respect and empathy towards your subjects. Invading someone’s privacy like that is tasteless and doesn’t help transporting any good storytelling. I understand the misery of being a content creator and permanently being in the position to deliver but the art of photography is also to know when to put the camera down or as you are German : Einfach anderen Leuten mal nen Moment nicht auf den Sack gehen.

The photos in the church were amazing, you captured some beautiful moments. It's never occurred to me to photograph people in churches before. Have you done this in churches in Latin American before?
@ottenburg Жыл бұрын
I'm sorry, but I had to stop watching this. People are going to church to pray, light a candle for loved ones who passed away, etc - what right do you have to take their photo without permission in a place of worship?! It shows a complete lack of respect and understanding of their culture and values. Get permission or don't impose on people in a place of worship.
@therealsirrobin Жыл бұрын
Well, since you were not there and you are not in one of the photos, you simply have absolutely no right to complain about anything whatsoever. Your comment is based on assumptions and nothing else. Do whatever you want but stop telling people what to do.
