This village has a 100% literacy rate. Its not just that village but that entire part of the state is clean like that. You missed out on the Root bridges near Mawlynnong. If I knew you were coming to Meghalaya, I would have been so happy to prepare an itinerary for you to see some of the touristy as well as non touristy places.
