Fun fact, the Reimu character mod has an infinite. Requires a certain uncommon card, rare card, and another rare card with as many copies as possible. Takes some work to pilot, but as long as you draw the first rare card after playing the other 2, you just kinda go wild. Very rng dependent to get the needed cards, of course.

THANK YOU. My man slept SO hard on Berserk this whole game. Like, bro, you could be getting through the slow setup turns so much faster with another energy! 😩 Tbh though, he probably would have needed to upgrade Berserk in order to swing it. Berserk is garbo, but Berserk+ with Runic Pyramid is literally just a free energy relic whenever the enemy stops attacking.

@@cameronschyuder9034yeah, I never understood his logic on berserk, I get that you don’t need INSANE energy for most fights, but it’s always nice to have a least a little bit more, and sure vulnerable sucks, but like you said, most enemies have a buffing phase, so Berserk+ is just a really nice play, it makes your whole deck run smoother, one less card to draw and one free energy for the rest of the fight.

Lol I did this recently with evolve +, wild strike, and a peace pipe. Lots of cycle so you can headbutt your powers in quickly. It doesnt even take that long. As soon as evolve is out you're guaranteed to get your fire breathing sooner rather than later, and with the draw on damage relics you get another full hand of wounds after taking a hit. Most fun build for sure

Getting vulnerabled is really bad. Especially late game, if you draw Berserk on the wrong turn it's unplayable because it'll just kill you. Plus the fights where extra energy is the most valuable (bosses and elites) are usually the fights where being vulnerable is the scariest. Berserk can be good when comboed with the right stuff, but so can almost everything in the game. I once had a barricade/body slam run where I had apparitions, and that made berserk amazing because the vulnerability debuff basically didn't fucking matter 90% of the time.

So, some notes. Firstly, I love this type of infinite. It is so janky, but when it works, it feels unstoppable. Secondly, why were you complaining about not finding energy the whole second half of the run despite starting with Berserk? Thirdly, as a minor optimization, when given the option to play second wind to exhaust a status, consider just, y’know, playing it. You’ll get less block, but if you draw an exhaustable off of it, you draw and exhaust more cards, so you can potentially infinite faster.
