When it comes to success at Manchester United, Ruben Amorim has zero chance of it working unless he has 100% buy in from all his players.
Its why Marcus Rashford is on loan to Aston Villa and this comment from Jadon Sancho...sigh
This right here is the culture Amorim is fighting to change because I tell you what, the lack of professionalism and self awareness is on another level together.

Fans act like Amorim was hired to start winning this season. He was hired to change the club's culture like he did at every other club he passed through (not just Sporting). You clearly don't have a clue about business management. Strategy (longterm) changes culture, not the coach. He's a short term actor and is supposed to execute his part of the strategy as written in the plan of action. Mission, vision and strategy is way out of the coach's league, because it's club business, not competent and he could be sacked this evening. In short, supporters and bloggers want to assess business without competence and the owner Ratcliff wants to enter the future without a SD. Clueless all over. The only smart guys around are the Glazers and they are straight out disgusting. MU is a total mess.

This is what managers deal with on a daily basis. When the entire fanbase was screaming “JUST PUT SANCHO IN THE 10”, the manager sees behavior that doesn’t allign with being a professional. I remember when Sir Alex arrived, the culture in the club was very clique oriented with the drinking and card schools etc. He came in and began to order his house from the bottom up. Whiteside, McGrath, to name but two players, were sold. It seemed crazy that they could be sold, because they were club legends, in my teenage minds opinion. Selling the players he did, felt baffling at times, because of the stature of them. This was before he had even got us anywhere near a final, never mind won anything. He had the vision, he had the confidence, he had the sense that the club was more important than the players, and that success was down to the group solidifying and understanding what was expected of them both on and off the pitch, and if they didn’t tow the line, repercussions were inevitable. I can see comparisons with the way Amorim has already, in his short time, made big decisions and stood up for what he believes is right in his mind, the gaffers mind, the Manager of Manchester United. The players need to garner that respect and work their souls to the maximum for this man, get some old school mentality of togetherness and respect and once that is cemented, they can work towards success. It isn’t a given, it shouldn’t be expected or thought of as an entitlement. Start from the bottom and all work bloody hard together to get to the top.

Is there something within the club holding players back from performing on the pitch? Do we have a knack of choosing managers incapable of getting the best out of players? This is the Issue with social media these days players feel the need to to show they are "right" or the manager is "wrong" by posting on social media causing the mainstream media to pick up on it and create controversies. I dont know if it is legal, but perhaps the club or clubs in general should start implementing social media bans while players are actually playing in their careers. They have too much say in matters and deminishing or undermining managers. Atleast in the case of Unites, Sancho for me was one of the biggest shows that the players have not had respect for their managers. I dont know how he can do it but amorim needs to get that fergie level of respect from his players.

When comparing Ten Hag (Ajax) to Rúben Amorim (Sporting), context is key. Ajax has one of the best academies in the world and is historically the dominant club in the Netherlands, though they hadn’t won the league in four years before Ten Hag’s arrival. He inherited a strong foundation. Sporting, meanwhile, hadn’t won the league in 19 years and was usually the third-best team in Portugal, lacking Ajax’s financial power and squad depth. Amorim’s achievement was in a much tougher context. Very different circumstances-so no, Rúben is not Ten Hag.

The shocking thing isn't that Jadon said this. It's that anyone thinks he's a good guy or that they would ever want him on Utd! Pogba, Lingard, Sancho, Martial, Greenwood and now Rashford. They're all the same guy. No need to go into all the details, everyone knows what POS they are. It's just great to see Amorim and Utd finally stand up to these clowns and tell them: "either fall in line, practice hard, change your attitude, be a team players or you're more than happy to leave." And then following through with it. INEOS is backing him to do the right thing and it's fantastic to see the changes already! INEOS and Amorim are COMPLETELY changing the team, the culture and the attitude of the entire club! Not just brining in a few new players like most years since Fergie left. It's the ENTIRE TEAM that is going to have to change. And as I've said before many times, 75% of this team will NOT be playing for Utd in 3-4 years. Some because of retirement, some because they're not good enough anymore, some because they never were good enough (or perpetually injured) and some because of their attitude. It's commendable that INEOS and Amorim are 100% committed to this entire rebuild and shift in culture. It's gonna hurt for a while, but in the long run, it's for the best and in a few years, Utd fans will have forgotten about these horrible years we've been having.
