This is walnut, which we commonly use for tables as well! Any hardwood is good for tables, it usually comes down to grain preference when choosing

I found them even cheaper on Etsy. The small charcuterie board form was $85. I've only done a couple epoxy projects and I'm thinking I could get into a little faster with one of these molds, but after running the numbers I don't think I could keep my pricing competitive with ALL the competition on Facebook marketplace. We will see if I pull the trigger or not...

Have you ever used box elder? I cut a bunch of burled box elder, and hope to build a sawmill. My wife wants a river table and counters from it , but my experience with turning it is , no matter how long it dries it will warp and shrink unevenly as soon as its worked . I'm wondering how you deal with it
