The gap is for the air pressurization for Wade mode
@Ingineerix7 ай бұрын
No the gap is for the gap! So any damage to the bottom cover will not impinge on the cells. You don't need extra air space for pressurization. (Actually you want less)

Well it will help it float and to have clearance foe under damage.

I really appreciate your time tho produce these very informative videos bud you should work on your closing/endings. Maybe a sort of conclusion sentence or paragraph even. Instead of it just abruptly ending. Just a thought.

Okay now I know that's the bottom it's just a crumple zone to prevent damage. Mystery solved.

Jeez, the way you're explaining this you could be sending people into hysteria. The chances of a battery catching fire is MINIMAL, whether it is of NMC, NMA or LFP, LFMP chemistries. The latter two being statistically even lower in chance. I suppose I ought to point out once again that a Petrol/Diesel and Hybrid vehicle is way higher in chance of catching fire. And it's a quick, explosive fire. You might not get out if you're not fast enough. A BEV battery gives you ample time to leave the vehicle, even gather your precious things, simply because of the nature of build up, from alert to thermal runaway. That's if it ever happens. Of course, nothing I write will even cause someone to reflect. Opinions are already set in stone

Tesla uses a lithium phosphate battery not a lithium battery found in a phone like you are showing, you need to be clear, and it’s the nickel primarily that is the problem for fires, and tempiture control that is not controlled such as in a phone battery you are showing, while the high voltage batteries in Tesla’s have a tempiture control system, so many wrongs you are talking about, Why??.

FSD guy, Andrej Karpathy, left in 2022 when he knew it wouldn't work. Now, Tesla's VP of Powertrain and Energy Engineering Drew Baglino, left when he knew it wouldn't work. And Anthony Thurston, senior manager of cathode materials and manufacturing, left when he knew it wouldn't work. Is anyone seeing a pattern? It isn't working.

Thomas Edison made over 1,000 light bulb designs before he found one that actually worked. Saying something outright "can't" work is rarely true.
@danlowe86847 ай бұрын
@@Turbo.M777 Thomas Edison copied light bulb designs for many years. Much as I was taught in public school that Henry Ford invented the car, Edison simply made the manufacturing process better. He invented no light bulb, and Ford invented no car.
