Every time I see someone posting other people's videos, I always say "It's not nice to post other's videos and try to profit from them" and every time I do, someone always jumps on me, and stands up for the thieves. I check their pages and see that they recently started the account and have a few followers, but no content posted, so it's either the same person, or a team.

It’s truly awful how scammers are impersonating other creators and you and stealing views,tricking followers into fake giveaways, trying to sell something that isn’t even for sale and much more it needs to be stopped!

It sucks because when theirs actual people like me who buys copper from scrap yards people turn a blind eye thinking im scamming them

You can embed things in the video itself that make it harder for the scammers. You can say your name is Michael. You can say if you're not watching this on the Michael's scrap life youtube channel, then this is stolen content and used without your permission. You can say if there is a phone number on the screen it's not yours and scammer have stolen the video etc, etc. Mention things like this off hand in the middle or at the end of videos. If the scammers want to continue, you just made it a lot harder because they have to watch every video and edit out those bits before they can use the video.... It's a game of cat and mouse, but if you make it just slightly harder to steal and use your content, then they'll move on to some other channel that is easier. Good luck, love your content!

Sounds like a good problem to have. Shows that the content is reaching alot more people albeit some unscrupulous people. Your channel is getting bigger and quickly*jealous) so it comes with the territory. Keep up the great scrap content

And Facebook acts like they are doing nothing wrong. I have seen it a ton with dumpster diving channels. 1 in specific i reported to Facebook and they say there is nothing wrong.

So many channels seem to have this problem. Is there a way to add a watermark to the videos. Or maybe run a ticker below stating that you only have youtube (and whatever else). Salty Stella struggles with this too. But the question is...do you resell?? So many of us viewers wanna shop your finds!!
