This is The Most Overpowered Build in Space Marine 2 - Solo Ruthless Difficulty l Space Marine 2

Build at start of the video.
Grenade Launcher is currently busted and it's ammo recovery with the "Emperor's Vengeance" perk is probably going to get nerfed so use it while you can.
I'd say this thing at relic tier is currently over melta and plasma, but Melta is still better for Level 1 weapon runs due to it's stagger being useful at all times.

Grenade Launcher is cracked, emperor's vengeance is probably going to get nerfed hard since they've already looked into the grenade launcher before. Use it while you can and armory data will rain like candy from a pinata.

I call the Grenade Launcher Boltgun "TERMINUS DELETUS", combined with auxpecs scan you can send Carnifex and Zoanthrope back to the Hivemind in less than 25 seconds

You can get more grenades for your nade launcher if you select weapon perks that increase your ammo capacity for your Bolt Rifle w/ Grenade Launcher attachment.

@@fuwto I joke about it because if you read many 40k books often Space Marines/Astartes are propped up and hyped up to be mega bad asses of an unstoppable force meant to wipe out aliens en masse. Yet in many games or books you'll read about or see them get wasted easily. So which is it? Are Space Marines bad asses? Or easily discarded cannon fodder. I really dislike it when an IP makes their protagonists or characters as strong or a weak as the plot demands. In lore it states how hard it is to kill a Space Marine and how powerful they are. So thats why i was joking when I said lore accurate.

Dear GOD, that grenade launcher absolutely CHUNKS his health. This will probably get nerfed, thats insane. I hope they dont, honestly, were not competing against each other. I'm fine with my teammate being OP while I Bulwark parry everything and drop banners

Always aim at their feet when scanning, helps to avoid awkward scan misses.

You can get closer, scan a nearby surface like a wall or ceiling, or hold down the scan button and track it in your crosshairs before quickly releasing after it has done a small burst of movement. After doing a little movement they seem to stop moving for a short period.

Emperor's vengeance perk gives back a full magazine(and all your grenades) on majoris kill with a 30 second cooldown.

Just wish they made the Heavy Bolt Rifle more appealing. The fact that damage numbers for the Heavy Bolt does less than the regular Bolt Rifle AND doesn't have the GL option is just heresy. This doesn't JUST look fun but it makes my choice of choosing the Heavy Bolt Rifle to Relic instead of the Bolt Rifle w GL a massive mistake. At least i Relic'd the Plasma Incinerator... Edit: After seeing the gameplay i came to realize something... Emperor's Vengeance is entirely broken. Yes it refills ALL the Aux Grenades for the GL but i noticed that it only restores some of the ammo in your actual mag and doesn't place the rest into reserves meaning if you only shot 3 bolts out of your bolter you only get the 3 to fill the magazine and the rest get deleted because the perk thinks it gave you one entire magazine back. You can see this happen at 2:59 the mag goes from 23 to 29 which means 6 rounds got restored but the rest of the 23 rounds that were supposed to make up 1 entire magazine got deleted and weren't placed into your reserves.

You need to get good with the parry mechanics and the combo system, it's a beastly class in the hands of competent players.

Bulwark has chainsword so it's horde clear is amazing, it has the best animation cancel in the game with it's shield block and it's gunstrikes are great due to plasma pistol. It also has 2 solid build setups and is one of the best classes to casually solo Bosses like Hive Tyrant with so it gets a thumbs up from me.

Stalker bolt goes surprisingly hard. Auspex and then head shot terminus level enemies and it just melts them

Heavy bolt rifle with headshot, cleave, and perpetual penetration paired (optionally) with Kraken penetrator rounds perk is a solid contender. Does well against bosses and majors, has high mag capacity and shreds through minoris like wet paper.

Marksman Bolt Carbine is surprisingly good. Falls off somewhat against Extremis enemies but that's what Auspex (augmented with perks) is for. Others have also mentioned the Stalker Bolt Rifle.

GL is so fantastic, but that perk that marks parried enemies is the real best in class for the Tactical. That trivializes all content no matter the weapon you're using. I'm curious, what do you think the strongest group comp is in this if you're just trying to burn through ruthelss as fast as possible? I think its probably tactical with GL, Heavy with Melta or Plasma, and Sniper with Las Fusil and cloak/damage perks. Don't get me wrong I love all the classes but I think that setup covers every encounter type, boss, and pressure you could get in operations easily.

Launcher has an AOE with what feels like minimal damage fall off, so direct hits aren't necessarily the goal since you're cycling into the next full magazine. It also just constantly refunds itself so you're better off just mag dumping the entire thing at nearly every opportunity, emperor's vengeance is a very short cooldown so being stingy with your nades for perfect shots is pointless. This is the biggest noob mistake you see players who are somehow bad with the launcher make. You can see that in this video that he is almost never out of grenades when it matters and rushes through the mission in like 20 minutes casually.

The stim recovers "contested" health (the white part of the bar) in addition to whatever else it restores, so the best time to take a stim is immediately after taking a heavy hit while the health is still "contested" before it disappears completely..

@@maurpion9793 The same feature works on the Bulwark, the Bulwark has an perk that makes the entire health bar contested when you drop a banner (turns the bar white) so if you use a stim at that point it will fill the entire bar... which can also be used to remove a mortal wound because it takes the health above 100%. None of this stuff is explained well by the game and we just learn it through trial and error, lol.

The issue isn't so much the bolt rifle with grenade launcher itself. The problem is the combination of the grenade launcher and Emperor's Vengeance. I fully agree that by itself, the grenade launcher is balanced. Ammo is scarce and you don't have many shots. However, Emperor's Vengeance completely overturns this by giving you back all ~10 grenades every 30 seconds as long as you kill Majoris and higher enemies while you have it out on hand.

@@Arkangel88Mr In general I am very pessimistic about online discussions, but here goes: Getting grenades back from Majoris (and higher) kills is fine. What is not fine is getting back all 10 grenades every 30 seconds. The 30 second cooldown is nothing considering frequency of Majoris spawns and how you usually only need 5 grenades to kill Majoris enemies. Tweaking EV so that you get back 30% of grenades instead would still make the GL + EV strong but actually balanced, which goes to show how absolutely broken and OP the GL + EV combo is right now. Also, you really shouldn't look at it from the standpoint of playing solo, since the game wasn't designed for solo play in the first place. It clearly was designed for co-op.

Why would you not be, you get your entire magazine back every 30 seconds and you're better off just mag dumping the entire thing for the full refund rather then triggering your emperor's vengeance while you have 5-7 grenades left on accident. You don't have to be stingy with your ammo usage at all with this build, that's actually a mistake plenty of people make and why most launcher players are still awful.
