I was in Uganda a decade ago visiting my brother and we went on a gorilla trek. After hiking up and through dense rainforest for most of the morning the rangers found a group of gorillas and we sat to watch. The young were playing and annoying the adults, who clearly had just eaten brekfast and wanted to sleep. The toddler-age gorillas ended up chasing each other up and down small trees and hanging from the vines , as the adults snoozed. It was like they were showing off for us, as the silverback and other adukts paid them no mind. This scene with Missy reminded me of that moment.
