This is the NEW Madrid Street Circuit that F1 Will Race At in 2026!

Today we look at the brand new Madrid Street Circuit which will host the Spanish GP from 2026 onwards. Rumours had been speculating when or if this would be happening and it seems that all sides agreed well as the Circuit has also signed at 10-year deal to keep it's place on the F1 calendar until 2035. After the first tunnel the uphill climbs suddenly more than 10 meters in height, they have already said that there will be a compression effect there, and the big curve will be banked at 30% inclination, 6 seconds of sustained G's. Every detail that is being given about the circuit makes it clear to me that it is going to be an incredible race.

The big curve at the minute 0:35 they have said that it will be cambered with an inclination of 30°, 6 secs of pure G's. Every detail that is published makes me more clear that this circuit is going to be a great show.

not bad, i do like it. can i add that i would like to see more of the traditional non street tracks retuned though..sepang, istanbul park and estoril. guys i don’t want to rain in on the hard work that is being done for this new track. its looks good, fast and challenging, but from a safety side of things..street circuits are far more dangerous with no run offs etc and from a money side of things, surely it would be better to revamp and upscale to f1 standards to an existing track such as estoril rather than build a whole new venue. i could be wrong in this.

I have a hard time believing this track isn't modified before the lights go out in 2026. That T4 chicane is a downright deathtrap, the flat out banked turn is going to eat tires, and multiple braking points just straight up don't have enough room for proper runoff. This feels like they rushed to get a design out rather than thinking about the actual raceability of it all.

With predicted laptimes around 12 second slower than this, there surely are some corners that will be made significantly slower. This is even more dangerous than Jeddah, especially the turn before the first underpass. I am sure they will put a slow corner there. Also the very fast S right next to a wall will never get through. Plus the run through the banked corner is way to fast with no run off, and much tighter than Zandvoorts last turn. The final sector looks a bit more believable, even if run off is still a problem there. Nice try though and at least there is some elevation to keep it interesting.
