I'll admit, I never really gelled with RAT-style circuits. I completely understand why they are so adored and widely used even to this day. They just never really fit my playing style, and "that frequency" you're talking about also gets me! This sounds pretty damn good though, cannot lie.

It is a very nice overdrive, ....but a Rat??? A Rat has been with us for decades because it is the Levis Jeans 501 of overdrive pedals. In comparison this is wearing a tuxedo with tails, 😇 Symmetrical clipping in a Rat. My god the pedal is not a Rat it is a Poodle. LOL I'm sorry the pedal is exquisitely made but the guy has just got stop laying on the pretension with a trowel. He should just take credit for an interesting and original pedal and give its Rat pedigree a rest. For gods sake this is a tool for Rock music not for a requiem Mass.
