This is so true, my best friend from high-school was like this, it took me 30 years to get rid of her, because I had feelings for her and she abused that over and over again. Every time I dated a guy, she wanted him too, and it happened many times and I forgave her because I had so low self esteem... Until I met a narcissistic boyfriend and I fell in love with him so badly that nothing else mattered and I hit myself so much in the process of understanding what this was, that I came to terms with myself and promised myself to find a way to take care of myself and stop abusing myself. Left the relationship, left the girlfriend and loving myself, being present and listening to my inner knowledge had made me so powerful and so confident that I literally fell in love with me. A few beings like that tried to come near me and get in my life but now I know from a mile away who they are, the discernment in me is amazing. For anyone here who feels fear from this display of duality, if your vibration was lowered because you’re not in a state of self love, knowing your purpose and being perfectly empathetic towards the people around you, you’re okay! This is the Earth Academy, we are learning, we are not doomed, evil, broken, etc. Black and white is for religion, not spirituality. Yes, there are narcissistic people, but there are also huge swaths of us, of people in transformation, chrysalis, no matter how old, who are vulnerable and will believe we are darkness itself. There are neurodivergent people, people healing (and hiding) from trauma, people caught in addiction, mental illness, grief or just confusion from spiritual teachings and we are all being dumped in the “black hole being” category! 😂 Depending on where you are at, you may think you are the darkness because you don’t have a big red heart on your chest right now! It’s okay- you are neither of these two representations of humanity, they are not real. You’re okay. The nacist preys on people who are gentle, open, caring, authentic and seeking validation.. Often, in the beginning, a narcist seems very sociable, open/honest and these characteristics may be refreshing for someone who likes that.. maybe the narcist will act like youve been long time friends after meeting just once or twice.. if youre not aware and assertive enough.. these people will sneak into your life and will take advantage of you. Personally I learned to prevent them from getting close by spotting fake friends/lovers in an early stage. They want to show and prove their 'high' status. When you talk to them, you feel like talking to a wall. They offer small favors and expect big favors in return. So how to distance yourself from them in early stage to avoid their manipulation? How to break contact fast, assertively and without too much drama?

Almost all humans or more than 99 percent of them live from their ego or false self. You make a lot of valid points in your videos but have not quite found the middle path yourself (at the same time I'm not claiming to be perfect but we each have different blind-spots)... The suggestion near the start to avoid or in other words write-off these souls that are more in trance by the physical world than you are, is in itself, defensive and an expression of fear mentality. Better to just be aware of where they are at, continue to engage and set a good example yourself IMO. We all have work to do or would not be spawned in to this physical classroom right now. We are all still on some level possessed by the ego (can you admit that you are physically very beautiful by society standards, spend at least some amount time and energy on achieving perfect hair, perfect makeup, outwards appearance etc, and enjoy certain physical experiences and goals on some level?)... The reason for this conflict is that unless you plan on going to a mountain to live in a cave, we are all participating in a society (and are playing out a drama of sorts). This requires us to play a character (ego), have physical goals, rely on each other's labor for food, shelter and basic things like sanitation and protection from criminals. These physical motivations like money, sex, recognition, intoxicants are what make a day-to-day society work. The world we have built now, although still very flawed and a WIP, at least allows for the feminine side to be considered equal (look back in history to dominant men controlling everything, which is what comes with a less developed society). So to return to my opening comment, it's not wrong to enjoy these things in a balanced way and the middle path is probably the best. For those too material or addicted and sucked into the shallow stuff they should indeed be helped to realize that there is an eternal spiritual truth = balance. Those living too far down the spiritual rabbithole, also need to remember that you are soul that is priveleged to be given a body on this physical planet and so to completely shun all physical desires is somewhat ungrateful to those who put in work to make those things possible - if everyone acted that way, the world would be fucking boring and we would not end up doing what we came to do which is self improvement. Again = balance, the other side of the swinging pendulum. For you specifically, I highly recommend the book "Journey of Souls" by Michael Newton (it's available as audiobook here on KZbin) - it's like the NDE information dialed up to an 11 since these are hypnosis accounts of between life experiences (under hypnosis you cannot lie). I'm in the middle of studying it right now and already it's improved my understanding, to the point that I feel confident enough to write this. That being said, for most people, the spiritual amnesia is there for a reason. Depending on the individual, to become present to the mindset of the afterlife whilst still in a physical incarnation cycle might cause more harm than good (over multiple lifetimes) since most people need to have these struggles in order to grow their soul although in the short-term the relief of knowing it's all an illusion does bring relief from earth's trauma. x

@@geertmeertens-sk7lv There is no escaping ego whilst in the human form everyone has one and if you think the goal is to eliminate ego you are greatly missing the point. You cannot unbake a cake. Most of this type of content implies "unhealthy ego" when referring it. For answers to the other 2 questions, if you are serious, I highly recommend the book I mentioned for general context about where I feel she's confused along with the Kybalion by Three Initiates for the fundamental rules of the game and lectures by Alan Watts for the rest. The 'middle path' is the primary teaching of Daoism. Again not knocking her content as a whole as a lot of the advice would be good if given to someone who's overly materialistic but the issues I mentioned are the same criticisms I have of many of the videos/creators that I get recommended over the last several years. My general take is that much of our collective psyche is burned out and grasping for relief wherever it can find it, but in doing so is suffering from the premise of "every reaction is an over-reaction" and so remains off-balance. I'm open to being wrong about anything but at the same time, I think it's a valuable enough idea to be worth sharing. The Michael Newton book really is worth spending the time on and could very easily help you find the quasi "ego death" you are looking for. x
