The atmosphere will be really spooky and uncomfortable like #2 but the jump scares will all be funny. Well the tension adds to the horror. I became numb to cheap jump scares like the ones in trenches, and i definiatly felt the fear when you know that something is about to happen, but it lets you sulk in the tension before delivering.

It capitalizes on better horror techniques. Sometimes, NO jumpscare, and encountering no spooky things can be worse. Because you know it is coming, and you are certain it is after you fill the body with the cavity fluid, or whatever... but nope. Nothing. The waiting is always worse than the release of being jumpscared.

Mortuary assistant was top on my list simply because it was the most grim, the jumpscares were subtle but horrific and overall had better graphics to make said scares look the best. Trenches in second because it somewhat reminds me of a potential origin story of SCP-106 and had fairly powerful scares with good graphics. Though holy shit this was horrific.

In my oppinion: 1st game: It's creepy, the fact some of the jumpscare won't go away unless you point at them is something else. I got goosebump from those creeps. Even a capture card can't handle the scare. 2nd game: At 15:18 I scream (And I'm not so much of a screamer when it came to horror), seriously though the game really barage you with relentles number of jumpscare It's excessive and the famous Fistycuff at 20:13. 3rd game: I don't know how to feel about this one, cheezy probably the only word that could describe it. After the 2nd one, I couldn't even bother.

The flesh monster was pretty neat though, with the deep raspy voice asking "Please help me daddy." like a lost little boy. Past all the jump scares I'm getting real Magnus Archives vibes from that game. Some mix of The Slaughter and The Lonely with maybe a dash of The Watcher from that one guy who keeps peeking around the corner. I think the history is that Kaif is playing as a German soldier dealing with this, the Allies have created a weapon or someone created it. That involves dinosaurs, it was great at first but they could barely control it anymore and it started to attack the Allies, and as a result, created these monsters that will hunt down anyone it sees.
