The main reason why ValvE hasn't released a new version is because everyone decided to blindly support Ngreedia and Ngreedia hates open source software and don't bother in releasing their drivers in such form. But since everyone can't understand what a horrible company Ngreedia is, they all will blame ValvE and Linux when their "magical" Ngreedia GPU doesn't work with SteamOS. So blame the correct culprit, not ValvE or Linux.
@arthiaszeroАй бұрын
Hi! You can dual-boot Bazzite and Windows from the same SSD. You can even have a shared Steam Library with both OS! What you will need to do is to create 3 partitions. Install Windows on one (you can keep that one at 100gb for example), set your shared library partition to NTFS and keep your Bazzite partition as "unallocated space" (I also kept this one at 100gb). When installing Bazzite you should see it detects the unallocated space automatically and it will install there. Once intalled, you need to mount the library from the partition manager in Bazzite and once that's done, you can set it up on steam on both OS. The PC should boot to Bazzite by default, but lets you choose in case you need Windows on boot.

I honestly think PCs like this are the future of pc gaming for most people. Graphics cards are just going to keep getting more expensive. With Intel and AMD taking what they learn from their graphics card divisions and sticking them into integrated graphics, unless you have a professional reason for buying the newest graphics cards, I think this is where people will turn to. With nvidia not needing gamers due to how much they make in the AI realm, it's not like we're going to see a big price drop in their future cards. Gamers' best hope for affordable gaming cards has now become Intel's battlemage since AMD will price their cards lower than nvidia, but they'll also perform a bit lower too unless they surprise us. So, they'll be pretty even with nvidia on a fps per dollar scale.

I appreciate that many would be using FSR and framegen on a device like this. But I do think it's important to show performance without these features on since not all games have these options accessible and for some, the visual or latency penalty isn't worth it. It also could also be a good way to show just how substantial the framerate uplifts are with these tools. Still, good video and a very impressive piece of hardware.
