I don't get all the hate in the comments - the sponsorship was clearly disclosed, he put effort into the video & ensured it has good information. There are some legitimately cool real life examples demonstrated here. There are so many channels that would make a video like this but not properly disclose the sponsorship. If you've watched Snazzy for a while you know he has absolutely no malintent whatsoever. This is his career - it's okay to make a sponsored video every once in a while, especially when the video isn't just repeating the company's exact talking points.

All processing happens on the robot itself, and initial setup and all the smart features like map generation or object recognition and avoidance you showed in the video works completely offline and independent from the cloud, without accounts or subscriptions, and will continue to function if the company dies?

Another robotvacuum (sponsored) review that doesn't take account for 2 extremely important review points, of which almost no robotvacuum company gets right. 1. [SECURITY] Can the robot run local only? (without foreign companies/governments spying inside your network or possibly becoming a riding trojan) 2. [ENVIRONMENTAL] Are there enough spare parts available to repair the robot? I for example wish to keep using it even after 10 years. And not just 2-3years when the battery dies.
@snazzy27 күн бұрын
1. All map/image/etc data is kept local to the robot, but an app is required to interface with cleaning tasks which is done via the internet. 2. Yes. Narwal is very good at repairability and replacement parts availability though sometimes you need to get them off of AliExpress.

Funny how the thing he's sponsored by gets his most enthusiastic thumb's up... Ugh. Even if it's genuine and you really think that this is the greatest thing on earth, you'll have to forgive us if we have doubts about the genuine-ness of this sponsored content. And "sponsored" = full-on infomercial/commercial. Got it. (And I thought that Eber Antony over at Hardware Canuks was KZbin's biggest tech shill...) With almost 1.2 million KZbin subscribers, you can't keep the lights on without doing commercials ike this?

robot vacumms, so irrelevant, aitomate a low effort zero skill task by spending a lot more money (factor of 4 or more over an expensive vacuum) then you have to do lots of admin on it to set it up and tackle the things it fails at, how pointless is this! Just clean you damn floors and move on with your life. And how many vids are you going to do on this subject. Your vids are usually excellent but this is kinda low effort, just a pay day. I don't blame you as if i could get paid for this kind of thing i would too.

Lawyer here--you are a talented guy and I enjoy your content but you really need to review the FTC's endorsement guidelines. They require you to clearly and conspicuously disclose any financial relationship (i.e. sponsorship) between you and a product manufacturer. The FTC is clear that disclosing a sponsorship in the fine print of a video description is not clear or conspicuous. If you have manufacturers reaching out to you for sponsorships, then great--you're clearly successful and making good content. However you need to do a better job in letting your viewers know if you've received some form of compensation in return for your review. Not only is this the law, but it's the fair an right thing to do for your audience.

Honestly, how do you think I could make it any more obvious? I’ve gone well above and beyond any reasonable expectation set forth by the FTC.

How much money does Quinn need to never make a robot vacuum videos or sponsor spots ever again? Love Quinn and Snazzy channel, just not in the market for a robot vacuum all the time

How much do I need to eliminate all sponsor spots? To cover my operating expenses and staff, about $500,000 a year.
