Having heavy feet means more inertia and less sway, which is perfect, but the grip means the feet don't flatten out as well! If you use low friction under the concrete, that should make it function smoother on flat terrain.

The motor with the weight should be able to start a little earlier so that when the body is vertical the weight is already in the middle or almost at the front. That would make the swinging motion faster and also shorten the waiting time when the body is horizontal.

@ScrapMan - The main issue that you're having is that the front legs aren't coming down vertically. However, you already have a vertical reference point - the legs that stay planted on the ground. Because of how you rotate around a fixed point each step the ideal distance between the front and back feet should be constant. So, you should be able to create a long bar linking the front and back feet together, attached by bearings, to keep them in sync.

The legs were likely swinging due to inertia, because the feet was much heavier than the whole legs. The one in real life probably had weight above the legs to balance it out. Adding suspension solved it probably because the game is bad at calculating more complex machines. Anyway, it's a very good creation, congratulations Scrapman

@jonati1 think about it logically, you can prove yourself wrong with a few lines a paper a pencil and a ruler and tape measure, just draw 2 slides one with the main base (a long line) its two legs down and in the other one the exact same way as the first but with the legs at like a 45 degree angle and now measure the distance between the two ends of the legs and you can see that in the second one it's longer.

You could improve the design by adding lock on mechanism using logic gate, so the "cockpit" will be locked in same locations over and over and it would prevents the legs to get over from locations, so before the front legs got the right place the "cockpit" will be stay locked and if on right place the lock will be unlock and you could moves more consistent
