I just got to see him conduct the performance he’s talking about here with the Boston Philharmonic Orchestra last Friday the 24th. Beethoven is my favorite composer and Zander’s passion and understanding for Beethoven and his work was palpable. He and the BPO nailed it. It flew like the wind but didn’t feel rushed. It had that Beethoven intensity and tenderness. There was no sitting still and it brought tears to my eyes. Thank you Mr. Zander and the BPO for bringing Beethoven and his music to life. That piece and the meaning move my heart and you guys made magic that night. ❤❤❤❤❤
