Highly recommend the EBC SRC kit. Used for the last 10+ years on my 96' RRT and it's been bullet proof.

Hey Mark, top job you are doing with your 92 Fireblades. Ive been restoring a 1992 rrn for the last couple of years here in the uk. Bought it as a 1995 french import with all the wrong parts fitted to it. wrong fairing and foxeye headlights and incorrect clocks and stuff. Its nearly finished and love watching your videos of your rebuilds. Keep up the good work and looking forward to seeing the end results.

I currently have a 98 Fireblade.. what is the name of the mirrors- -upper fairing stay that goes ontop into the steering stem? ..and or where did you get it? I like it much better than the stock one, but have never been able to find info on it.

I think 145 mains, but they’re very sensitive to change having tuning the other bike with FCRs, so I’d only suggest getting it tuned properly

@@HoonTV to get to a properly jetted bike others' experience is a big value.. so can you please make the effort on sharing MJ, slow jet, needle position, needle code and so on? My settings is : MJ 160(seems okay with full exhaust without db killer); Slow Jet : 55( seems a little fat) idle screw : 1.5 T from fully closed

Luckily parts are still available for these , heck I can still get parts for my 1968 CB350 . Unlike Toyota and Nissan who cut off spare parts for their earlier models.

Thanks Mark. But you know the real CBR only has 250cc haha I think you need to build one and have it looking identical to the 900 brother, just in miniature form. How long until the Ute is back up and running?

Transmission is a tricky one. You might struggle between SC28 & SC33, but either way if you swap to a different generation gearbox, you have to replace everything, because all four generations run different ratios etc. SC28 cards should work though, you just won’t have throttle pos sensor.

Ok, thanks. Catching hell with getting it running tomorrow gonna check Petcock and vacuum lines. It will run for a couple min. And cut off. Any help/advice much appreciated

@@nathanielmabreyI’ve got the same issue on my 98’ Fireblade. I actually found out that the diaphragm inside the fuel petcock where the vacuum line attaches was slightly ripped. It was minuscule. I hate vacuum lines so I’m thinking of switching to a fuel pump.

Bike looks awesome. Very clean! Just wondering if you’ve got around to putting the bike on the dyno since. I’d be interested to know the power output with the FCR’s. Also, do you have the original airbox on there?

First off cool as bike mate, well done, also random question, was the service pit a pain to put in your shed? did you need council approval? I've only ever seen them in old sheds.

@@HoonTV Oh and by the I have been watching your videos for a few years now. I am getting ready to restore my second 1998 CBR900RR. This one I want to add some personal touches to. It's a guy selling SP2 coil kit in Japan, but I have found much on them on line. Take care.
