I bought also the standard version. The deluxe version has an overpriced base which the design I don't like.

Amen about wanting the maquettes you'd see in the film documentaries! I was the same way. I'd always wonder if they were being treasured as works of art or just thrown in the trash when it was all over. Nowadays, I'm sure all of that gets sold in auctions or online, but back in the day, people probably just saw them as tools to be used in production and little more. Oh, to go back and snag a few, right? ;) As always, your videos and camerawork are AMAZING!!! You really bring these figures to life, even more than they already do on their own, with their exceptional sculpts and paint. These companies really need to start hiring you to do all of their promotional images and videos. Why they haven't yet, is beyond me. ;) Another awesome video, man, and your three 1/4 figures are absolutely incredible! Keep your videos coming and hope you have a very Merry X-mas and a Happy New Year!!! ^_^

Dude thank you so much for the kind words, it REALLY means a lot! And yeah, those props are either sold or destroyed... I swear one of my goals as a filmmaker is to have the prop department make extra props exclusively for my private collection. Destroying them is a sin XD

Awesome review! My concern now is this being my first 1/4 that I’ll want to buy Vader and Boba my two other fav Star Wars Characters. I’ll enjoy this one for a few years before the inevitable chrome version

Haha! Oh your desire to get more quarter scale Star Wars figures WILL happen. When I got my quarter scale Boba Fett I knew I'd get Mando if Hot Toys created him in quarter scale. And here I am now, expecting my 1/4 Mando in the mail. :)

Darth Vader received EPIC .....Mando received awesome. Holding out for the Book of Boba Fett 1/4 Fett I just which the series didn't suck so bad but The Book 1/4 Boba looks vastly better than old school Fett. It is what it is.
