Thanks for watching! We hope this video helps anyone who is thinking of reborning the Mattel 3.0. And for those looking to just know how to change the batteries, we show you one way in the video, but there are other options for getting to the battery box like opening up the seam in the back of the doll, but I hate sewing if it can be avoided, so taking the head off is the easier option for me.

Hello again Fester. You're rocking those shorts Fisher. Let's get this body swap started. Don't be afraid Fisher & Chip. Your Momdalorian is a certified Grogu surgeon. Hello to your sweet pup that whizzed by. I love how he's giggling like your tickling him. Another successful surgery. Well done doctor. *Great video 😎*

Frankenbabies! You are getting to be a pro at figuring things out and getting them to work. I am looking for the right green fabric and then I am going to try my Blinky on a body from the Mexican pattern (I love that pattern!). I have some armatures on backorder. I am going to put one in my Build-a-bear Groot too. Now I just need to find room to set up my sewing machine.

Frankenbabies! You are getting to be such a pro at re-bodying those babies. Meaning that when things don't go the way you expect, you carry on. Did I mention that one of my favorite stuffing tools for arms and legs is a clean chop stick? I think that I am going to try my body pattern from Mexico for my Blinky when I get time. I also ordered an armature for my Build-A-Bear Groot.

Thank you for the video! Good to know the 3.0 head/neck is bigger than the other two. I'll have to make a new pattern to accommodate that. But I can still remaster the body he has. Can't wait to do my two!

That was fabulous work! Awesome! I've just purchased the blinky one now (from our toyworld in Aussie, thank god they had that one :D ) and thinking I will transfer it to a proper feety type body too. Thanks for showing this awesome work! 🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌 (Deaf claps) 🤟

Ooo, wow, that was so cool! I was on the edge of my seat a bit, not sure what all was going to happen. I think you did an awesome job adapting to things on the fly like that! 👏 I get nervous just cutting the one place to remove the robes, so I can't imagine taking their heads off and bodies apart, lol 👀 but it's so fascinating to watch all the same! Great work! 😎👍💚

Oooh, you are giving me ideas. You did a really great bodyswap. And these two have REALLY different face expressions. Now if only there were a way to quickly swap heads without having to use a ziptie every time you want him complentative or very happy. I may have to look for zipties that can be reused...I have seen them somewhere.

Very interesting video! I love to see how they look from the inside, in case they need surgery. Can you make a video and show how the feet are attached to the body? My Grogu with the posable legs seems to have lost its fixation of the foot with the leg (you show that the body has these connections with the legs, but I can't see how they look at the bottom towards the foot). I'd love to repair him somehow, because the foot is kinda loose now and can't be posed😔

My mother ended with Tulip 🌷 (2.0?) because the lady I got her instead of the other (more $$ at the time). I found what you found and asked if she would like me to use one I had aside. So mother has a story for her.
