I swear there is no legit way to diagnose adhd or at least i have yet to see it used( as a person with adhd). I think that's bad but kinda not that bad if you're adult when you can just try it then realise ok this is impacting my life negatively and stop taking it. Worse is if they do this shit with children. "Oh you think your child has ADHD cuz he does normal child things? Here lets make zombie out of him for the rest of his childhood and he can do nothing about it.

From what I've heard from other Canadians and people I know here in the US, I feel like it just varies so much here. It's either mirroring other plaecs that have a consistent, structured, and lengthy diagnostic process, or it's "oh shit damn, do you want adderall?" or they do the weird medical gaslighting and tell you you're just making it up before even testing anything.

i’ve been binge listening to the yard (and patreon) for a little over a year now. Out of other podcasts, yall have stayed pretty similar throughout, obviously with a few changes like anything. Still you guys have kept it digestible enough to listen, to where you don’t have to watch consecutively so if you miss a week you can watch the newest so without being confused about what’s being talked about. The community has also been staying pretty similar (though i am a lurker so i don’t look at that part much) and i think that really helps keep listeners over type.

I watch as much Ludwig live as I can, but I do the binge thing with the Yard. I'll miss about 5 episodes and come back a month or two later to binge them all at once. I just feel like live is such a unique and special experience. You get to see more of the reality and participate more, like in the voting, reacting, spamming, commentating, or chatters just joking amongst ourselves. You feel included in the hivemind that is chat. I will say, the reasons people stop listening are obvious, but this was a really great episode. Slime is intensely funny as always, Lud continues to just be bullied on his own show (he plays the role well), Nick kinda blows he’s all flustered this ep (I think still recovering from the Karl Jacobs ep), and Aiden is the perfect amount of normal and offputting. One of the funniest in a while it felt like they were all trying :)
