If I remember correctly, there is a special ending if you left space fast enough. You should buy the max level things instead of stick with the old ones. Also you the bonus shop. It makes a HUGE difference

A tip to keep on mind is that stage order matters. When a stage or boost is exhausted, it and all the weight it brought is dropped. Put heavier stuff at the top and lighter stuff on the bottom. The next optimization is to avoid the red part of the speedometer, and try to save all your fuel for after the launch slows down. Everything else should come naturally with time and experience.

If you're considering playing more of this Weight and drag are the 2 most important aspect to consider when building a rocket Weight will affect how easy it is to reach the max speed, more weight requires more powerful launchers and stages Drag, once you reach the max, your meter will go into the red, red is faster than white, but you're constantly losing speed from drag, draining your fuel, don't use all boosts at once, space them out so that you go at your max speed without touching the red Also, Bonus shop is good, so are the trophies, each trophy gives you Bonus Points and a permanent ingame bonus such as stage power and boost power

You should be selling anything in the locked slots, because if a body doesn't support those slots, the item inside does nothing. Everything also has a 100% sell price so there is no money loss. Also, holding s or the down arrow will pause your stages, and stages should be paused during launch until you start slowing down and get out of the red zone. Finally, the RPG and Monster Engine stages are very good, as well as fins for a better launch and higher top speed.
