@@jasiebelderart big first verse and em's verse were a tie...big's second verse wasn't even written for that first verse...it was just lying around and had similar subject matter so they put them together...these were throw away verses for biggie...never to be published....but p-diddy is money hungry....Biggie's verse was pre-peak in 1995, while Em wrote his at his peak in 1999...i think you can see from that who took this...breaking even for big on a verse he wrote at 20 and before he defined his rap style and was experimenting with horror core actually shows Biggie outshined Em. Em should have ate Notorious alive for an old outdated verse.

@user-fs1lc2cj5s

Exactly, I can really appreciate “mumble rap” as an art form because it’s at least an interesting development of rap and it gives producers a bigger stage. However, u hear shit like this and it’s just like… man…. how can this shit even be compared??

@@user-fs1lc2cj5s It cant. If you cant understand what someone is saying how can you feel their point or their message, being able to hear and understand helps you paint a picture in your mind so you can appreciate that artist and be like Daaaaamn, did you hear how sis or son put that together, can't do that with mumbling.✌🏾

@@rahshaanmuhammad1671 not only that, but even if you could hear half these artists, there’s no message. Or at least none that defines them. I swear to god Lil Uzi Vert is the biggest perpetrator of writing his shit with no substance. Every once in awhile he goes on about his depression and I can respect that, but 90% of the time he’s rapping about a watch. A fucking watch. Shit kiiiiillls me. Anyways I’m glad this community agrees w the sentiment

The categories in Hip Hop is gone also, I remember if I wanted to laugh or bug out, I could put on Biz or Fresh Prince or if I wanted to be uplifted I could put on Public Enemy, KRS1, Rakim or X- Clan. This was before he defined who he was as an mc. Biggie could do horror core which was big then, rap any style - fast, slow, party music, gangsta, devil, etc. these verses which are better than most verses on most rappers albums and keeps up with one of em’s best verses while it was two different verses of two different uncompleted songs keeps up with em, says a lot about how great big was. These were 10 yr older verses than peak em’s verse. Big would not have allowed these to be released but puff’s greed for money took these out of the vault. Put em on notorious thugs and tell him to keep up or ‘oh i have a story to tell’ and i think only nas really has a chance. Put biggie on a black thought song, em song, jay z song, bone thugs song and guess who most like will sound best?

Just being real… I was never a fan of this remix. Borderline pissed at Puffy for touching and watering down this Biggie classic. This isn’t to say that Em didn’t do his thing on here. I just don’t think that his verse added anything to this. I always felt that this remix was more about Puff using BIG’s music to shine light on himself. Now if Em just took this himself and laid this same track, I’d feel better about this.

he wrote it 5/6 years later while in at his peak while Big wrote his when just starting out...and then upped his game higher with his 5 star ranked albums...No one hates Em. I grew up to both and saw when Em came out...we were all on some weird shit back then with Mystikal being the better of the two. Gravediggaz would kill Em and they would also drop knowledge. Biggie would change his flow and have some over the top lyrics if he had been alive for the collab. Remember Big wasn't Jay Z. Jay Z stole a lot of big's lyrics to become the top MC. Nicki MInaj stole his lines to make one of biggest hits.

Brotha lynch hung: return of the baby killa. Hands-down the darkest song you ever hear talking about cannibalism eating babies all kinds of shit in it. Horrorcore California CRIP style. Even sent you the link homie look into his shit. Old school Cali shit.

If people are taking this song seriously you are missing the point. This is horrorcore. Ems verse was soo hot they added his verse to biggies track. This was an OG cypher about who could be more obscene. It’s a perfect lyrical assassination of today’s culture. People got a problem with this then they got a problem with me cuz this is real right here. Move over Lucifer I’m more ruthless unhhh. Come on now! This shit right here! This shit right here! Is straight cosmic oblivion hot.
