The mom condescendingly evicting her child at 18 is essentially setting up that kid abandoning that parent when they get too old to take care of themselves as easily. And I wouldn’t blame them.

That one is tuff. Like Noel said we don't exactly know what's up here but one have to believe the kid didn't do anything too bad. If that's the case, having your mother, the person who's supposed to be the most loving and caring, to be so cold and condescending is rough. One of the first thing I thought watching this video was "not in today's economy, not like that at least". It feels like homie is being set up for failure

Oooh that eviction notice makes me so mad. Not only is she abandoning her child, she’s gleefully recording and posting about it instead of celebrating his birth. As if other people should emulate that behaviour with their children. Good parents don’t do that, even if they’re upset with their children. And especially not for their birthdays. I hope that kid’s okay, but I wouldn’t fault him if he wasn’t. I also wouldn’t be surprised if that wasn’t the first time she made him feel like that - like a burden, ashamed, humiliated, small. That’s fucked up.

10:40 my mom did the exact same thing to me, same tone, everything. She said she'd kick me out at 18 my whole life, regardless of the fact that she put me through kindergarten twice so I was still in high-school at 18, she was a psycho. This mom is for sure the crazy one
@dragonsrule20201
@dragonsrule20201 2 жыл бұрын
Yeah if you're a good parent, you would not respond to your child being an asshole by using a tone like that, mocking him, recording it, and doing it like that. It was maliciously pre-meditated. There's for sure something wrong with her. The calm way he responded to her speaks well to his character too, and I know acting as unaffected as possible was the only way to get my mom to leave when she was trying to start an unnecessary fight.

Honestly, i feel for the dude. A lot of people are still in education at 18 and its damn hard to hold down a job with decent enough hours to be able to meet rent in that situation, thats why so many parents let their kids hang around for a few extra years and it makes perfect sense to just help them find their footing. Course we dont know the situation but everything about that video suggested that 'mom' was the nightmare in that situation, even if he mighta been trouble or whatever, i highly doubt he deserved that condescending recorded and posted interaction like that, especially with how passive he seemed in response like hed learned to be non-confrontive, which in itself can be a huge hint to the situation. I mean damn she made it official and everything, even that says a lot, a lot of parents mighta been like "hey maybe you should start looking at places to rent around here" or "maybe you could start pitching in with some rent here" etc, but no, she had to go so much further then that. The whole situation is just awful for him. Sorry about your situation too, your mum sounds like a real piece of work too.

@danijacobs4659 100% right. I reckon when I was about 17 I had done that "why not" loop after being rejected, it 100% comes from not being taught the appropriate lessons on consent from parents or teachers. As an adult man of course that never occurs now and when you look back on your actions retrospectively you can only make sure your kids do better than you (something I'm sure that even women feel too).

What Noel was saying at around 11:16 hits me hard because it’s something I think about all the time regarding raising kids and whether or not I’m up for the job. I could do my absolute best and think I did everything right and follow the “recommendations” and my kid could still turn around and say I ruined them and was a terrible parent…

the mom kicking her son out makes me so sad. ive never met anyone who got kicked out at 18 whos doing super well for themselves. they always seem super emotionally immature and struggling in life. idc if that sounds harsh, its not their fault, its their parents. 18 might be a legal adult but that doesnt mean shit. ur parents should be there for u until the day they die. anything less than that is shitty ass behavior.

14:50 this guy inst like....dangerous. my cousin is like this guy.. its a social this that for whatever reason some people don't actually develop this specific part of the brain when they were young . It's the part that governs our social structure in the midst of our own small family/friend groups. It is basically the voice in your head that makes you feel awkward when you become aware that you just hurt someone. or their feelings. or youre making them feel a type of way, badly. they tell you over and over, but you still inside don't understand. "well what did I do", you might think to yourself with people like my cousin (sister too) its a few different things that cause it, horrible relationships with parents (mothers for sons, fathers for daughters), usually results in someone who is already without a FILTER TO STOP THEM FROM ASKING THE QUESTION "Why!?" 15 times in a row when any normal person would have heard, "im not comfortable around you" and either asked "well, im sorry about that, we clearly have to work together, what could I do better, or even differently to make you and the entire workplace/environment where we (they) are working feel more accommodated, more importantly though.... comfortable. I don't want to be the guy (surly noo body wants to be this guy) that you can FEEL glaring daggers into your hair from 20 feet away but for some reason you still feel them. He is weird to us and scary/uncomfortable to her, but he isn't doing anything to come off that way.....except one thing. Not understanding the simple rule that you, and you reading this, and even me, no one in the world is ENTITLED for someone to like them, even as a friend. further? why of course, NOT ONLY THAT, BUT DUDE ISN'T EVEN ENTITLED TO HER RESPONSE. she stated she is uncomfortable, she isn't being super rude for no reason. that being said my whole point is that the guy, listen to his voice.. he isn't embarassed, he instantly asked the same or similar questions OVER and OVER again. he seems quite dim. he is just a naturally UNskilled social moth who doesn't understand what a social filter is. the voice inside your head saying "yeah maybe invade this girls head so bad that you end up going freaking VIRAL to wwwwhundreds of thousands... probably millions to be honest tho....... dude needs a reality check. even my cousin Todd eventually ghrew into himself and found his confidence and what he was good at. when you have no (i feel awkward) feelings for what you say, or that voice or feeling inside you that screams in pain and cringe everytime you even just step over your words or think you come off as sounding dumb. well it makes for the build to a really.. and i am being DEAD SERIOUS, a REALLY FUCKING GOOD SALESMAN. mostly, cars if you don't have a filter, and you dont feel guilty super easily, and you dont ever make yourself feel awkward, or even when other people feel awkward, you dont? that is another AMAZING sign that you lack certain, very old by now, by certain parts of your brain of which they were never FULLY developed, anbd therefore dropped from the main release.....main release being you all growd up brother. have I ranted long enough yet for someone to comment and tell me.. "I read it. all of it. you're cringe, awkwardness is pouring from your comment, and you're making the comment section uncomfortable. "oh yeah also, youre extremely below average at gaming." that would hurt my feelings. . any takers? free happy feelings here ready and willing to be utterly and fully hurt by commenters further.....well, comments. i still dont think I wrote enough alright well. if youre reading this. DM for paypal cause DAMN you ready all of it? (yes im serious, and YES ill know if you cheated lmao
