@@r4in_o202 I don't know for other countries but I have a hunch that every language has woman and man. All latin based languages have woman and men, heck we have gender for objects for example table (in romanian "masă) it's gendered feminine, and chair (scaun) is gendered masculine. Some words can be gendered masculine in its single form but gendered feminine in its plural form (or vice versa). P.S. If you want to picture it, objects have genders as animals have genders like lion and lioness, but objects are fixed in their gender because objects can't have bimodal sexual characteristics.
@tinytine_4 ай бұрын
@@victorvanvolt8425that's actually a very interesting topic! Because in my country, the Philippines, there's usually a very general gender-neutral language when we refer to people as a group and we usually have to add on adjectives to describe the group exactly. For example: you can say in english, "the women over there." To refer to a group of women But in Tagalog, specifically colloquial Tagalog, we can just say, "Sila duon," but ofc we can get more grammatically correct and say, "Yung mga babae duon." But it all really depends. We do have gendered language. But even the term for spouses such as husband and wife, only share one word in our language, "Asawa"

@@ca678.4 That is true, many men do believe this awful stuff. It's a real problem. And their needs to be a reckoning about it. Personally, I think one of the causes and symptoms of the current strain of this thinking (it's long existed, but it mutates each generation), is men like Andrew Tate who have co-opted the 'role model' position for overwhelmed adolescent boys. The stuff they say sounds patently ridiculously, and awful, if you actually listen and think about it for too long (I highly recommend the Andrew Tate episode of the Behind the Bastards podcast for more on this) but it's a bit like the Nigerian Prince scam. The scam itself is a filter for picking out young men with little life experience, who can be easily manipulated and pulled deeper.

As someone who is in the BDSM community, we don't welcome nor claim anyone who will ignore/ dismiss someone saying they're not interested, dismisses consent, or tries to manipulate or force someone to do something they're not comfortable with. Someone saying they're not interested or no isn't them playing hard to get or some mind game. Accepting rejection shows that you're mature & can respect other people & treat them like a person instead of an object that exist for your pleasure. What this "coach" is doing is not okay & I hope that the next person he tried to force into giving him their phone number uses said phone to call the police on him because it isn't cute or sexy. It's immature, creepy, & dangerous because someone is going to see this "advice" & someone else is going to wind up the victim of the person who followed this guy's advice
@alexiswagner53886 ай бұрын
@al3x0X0_. "BDSM is an acronym for bondage and discipline, dominance and submission, and sadism and masochism"
@claratalbot76136 ай бұрын
@al3x0X0_. To add to what Alexis said, it is a variation of role-playing during intimacy regardless of if sex is involved or not. It's usually more erodic or involves different kinks that the people involved consent to, such as bondage. That being said, some of the core essentials are: consent from all involved, breaks being given, safe words being respected, stay sober, making sure that equipment is used properly, & checking on with the person or persons involved before, during, & after to make they are mentally, physically, & emotionally okay. Also, role reversal could be brought in too if needed. Those of us in the community know that if taken too far or done without consent, it could easily turn into abuse, which is why we have the essentials we do to keep intimacy both consensual & safe

Happened to me in college when I was an RA for a coed floor (each suit had its own bathroom). They mistook kindness for flirting and kept trying to ask me out which I continued to say "no thank you, I dont date residents" (which was very true and I felt was the best let down possible). I was in a long-term relationship with someone, but I HATE using them as a way to get men to back down. Like please just respect me and not my "boyfriend" who is not present nor have you ever met. It resulted in him going to jail after he tried to pull a knife on a friend of mine walking me home from class as he was "trying to protect me from the (bad racial slur) stalker". Luckly my friend was a 6'7 250+ basketball player and easily subdued Mr. Stabby Stalker. His parents tried to get me to drop charges because he was on the spectrum but honestly, I was very afraid of him and said no. He needed to stay in the concrete box where he couldn't hurt me until I graduated and left.

Yeah, the whole alpha thing reeks of insecurity. No one with actual confidence goes around bragging about how much better they are than other men, how they're just oh-so-naturally superior.

@@Queenofthesharkss honestly. This shit just needs to die bc this "alpha" stuff doesn't even exist in wolf packs 😭,, even better, female and male wolves have the same level of authority!!! theres no ranks bc this is just a traveling family most of the time :')

@@eldritchmonsters yeah fr. Tbh I said this cause I heard it was taken out of wolves. But no you're right wolves are family hunters and loyal to each other. They don't really have like authority ranks that are viscous or insulting to anybody they all love each other equally. Especially considering that wolf moms (and dads?)are one of the best parents.

Has even one woman come forward and admitted to dating this walking delusion? Because if he's so desireable, I can't imagine why his comments aren't filled with his past conquests, vouching for his claims and praising his prowess all over the place. And his "but they're doctors and lawyers and models" claim doesn't mean sh*t. Doctors and lawyers and models have nothing preventing them from talking about who they're dating, regardless of their job or station in society. A doctor isn't going to suddenly lose their license for dating a guy. So wtf even was that?

I know I'm late to this but the "and the girl you have chained to the radiator, also hi," bit made me lose my shit. You have no idea how funny that is. I'm a trafficking survivor (many years free now and doing great) but I have literally been in that situation of sitting tied up watching someone watch youtube videos- and if that had happened in one of em it probably would've made the whole ordeal worth it. I think it's cathartic to be able to laugh about this stuff, and you've tapped a very specific experience hilariously.

I had the “you don’t have to accept her rejection” thing happen to me at work once while I was working at the gate. Asked me if I was in high school then proceeded to hit on me, continuing after I informed him I was in a happy relationship of several years, saying “he doesn’t have to know”, and then insinuating I was racist when I continued to be uncomfortable about his “compliments”. He only left after his daughter came up with his GRANDCHILD. Happened in the span of a minute or two, but felt like an eternity.
