These glass floors should be illegal. Squash floors should be made of a material that is not slippery when wet, such as unvarnished wood only. Also, floors should be suspended, and so have a little give - this avoids ankle/ foot injuries.

Agreed. What's more, Material Science might produce an alternative to wood, and so carry on the unique ability of exhibition squash to erect a venue on any flat space.

squash is evolving … anyone remember the days of only scoring on “hand in” ? i see glass floors as an experiment that hasn’t served squash - let’s go back to unvarnished wood ! also: blue walls with a white ball better for the cameras than pink, grey, yellow … 🍀
