The game became infinitely easier when I discovered a room full of empty bottles. Once you clear a path to the fuel room from the bottle room, you can quickly amass more fuel than you'll know what to do with. It was rare for my generator to *not* be running. Edit: bottle room = wine cellar

It took me way too long to realize the pictures of soldiers doing things were hints as to what's possible, so when i finally relooked at all of them and realized you can burn bodies to stop the rats from coming back i felt so stupid

The devs opted to make this weapon function more like a conventional revolver (which swings out to the left), sadly, depriving the modèle 1892 in this game of its most unique design feature. Its the wrong way around because in order for them to do this, they had to model the weapon to be mirrored. It could have made sense if they were referencing old CS:S weapons (which were all mirrored) but the shotgun depicted isn't mirrored, and is anachronistic.

The noclipping is practically a feature of this engine. You should watch some speedruns of Amnesia 1 and AMFP. In some places you can just walk through walls if you just persist for less than 3 seconds. But that also makes makes those speedruns crazy enjoyable to watch.

I think the best part was when he got the sbotgun, he said a phrase I rember from an older ps game, die hard. When you pick up certain guns, like the machine gun, he says "ho ho ho I got a machine gun" When he gets explosives he says "best christmas bonus I ever got". The best is how you rarely end up using the gun too, back to your trusty pistol.....
