When I realized she was waiting for her little bug... I cried so much I couldn't breath! And when Randall said "Tell him hey" and Rebeca and Jack see each other in the afterlife... I had such a knot in my throat that I had to repeat myself "they are actors, it's not real, calm down!" Thank you for this masterpiece!!

I have to say. The small detail of Rebecca closing her eyes before she went to lie down. If she didn’t do that - it wouldn’t have struck me that hard. Absolutely fucking brilliant scene.

@Ajeeth Raveenthiran I think the closing of her eyes is the moment she actually dies. When she steps into the caboose she pauses for a moment, looks at the bed (symbol of her eternal rest), then sits down and closes her eyes. When she opens them she has passed and Jack is there waiting for her.

I am 64 years old and I have never seen a show so spectacular as this! The writing , the acting , the filming is absolutely perfect! The train was so beautiful, and how they portrayed Rebecca as an Alzheimer’s patient was spot on. I lost my mom to this dreadful disease 12 years ago and this … reminded me so much of her, so sad and yet so beautiful ! I am a mess even today - but I am so touched by everyone ! Love this show

William taking her through her life: Beth, Toby, Miguel, Annie, Dr. K, and then that speech at the end: we were able to see Rebecca’s “wonderful life” on that train ride. I think it took the sting away from her actually passing. And of course she held on for Kate. Her bug 😢

@@lenegal77 i dont think the train is supposed to be a replica of the memories she retained at her deathbed, it doesn't make sense that she kept william and dr.k's memories intact but not miguel's. it's harsh and maybe even unfair but i think it all came down to miguel not being as impactful on rebecca's life as she was in his.

There is no words to describe how amazing this series was. This episode was epic. This is us is a story with so much heart and compassion and love. Never cried so much than with this series. I think it was always intended to end with six seasons. And I think the ending is quite beautiful honestly. The show hasn’t overstayed its welcome and it will be remembered as one of TV’s best. As William said in this last episode, if you’re sad about something ending, it must have been pretty wonderful while it was happening

No. It was expected. Jack is her soulmate. The only reason she ended up with Miguel is because Jack died. Not because her and Jack divorced. But because he died. If Jack would have survived, then she would have never looked at Miguel that way.
