In Canada, the Model Y comes standard with front mud flaps, which helps stop the kickback of rocks to that area of the car. Tesla also sells PPF on their site for ~$50 that is applied right at the rear doors where you're getting all of those rock chips. Maybe look into getting that applied to prevent any further damage. Would definitely be a good investment for your case, given the terrain you're driving on.

I have seen those listed on the Tesla App. Thinking might be time to get both the mud flaps and PPF. Thanks for the advice!

I have a 2023 MYLR with about 35K miles on it now and have the same issues where the paint looks like it got sandblasted towards the back. I put the Tesla PPF on the rear doors when the car was new, but the sand blasting pattern extends beyond the piece given. So now I have a clean spot at the rear of the doors, but rock damage just in front of it. I also had front and rear mud guards since day one and it hasn’t helped. If you are going to get mud guards, I would recommend getting the Tesla branded mud guards for the Y because they go down a lot farther down than aftermarket ones. I also had a little bit of sandblasting wear on the front edge of my passenger rear door because it was not completely flush with the front door. Because of that, it took some fine rock damage. This is not evident on the drivers side rear door though. I think the sand blasting is the result of how the car is designed, as it seems to get any debris coming off the tire hitting the back section of the Model Y. I do not believe the Model 3 has this problem.

Get a set of mud flaps. With out it, those area near the bottom rear door get a lot of kick backs

Thanks! Have you noticed any reduction in range loss with the mud flaps?

Nope mud flaps doesnt solve it. It helps a bit, but PPF is the only way to protect the area.

Dang, that looks bad. Thankfully, I don't have to worry about winter season. Would you consider getting a PPF if you decide to get a new one?

I would definitely consider PPF seeing the rock damage after just one year. I plan on doing a touch up paint video and might consider doing mud flaps and PPF as well after I fix the nicks.
