As an extremely casual Warzone player, I have no idea what regain, VSAT, SR games mean I am clearly not the target audience for this video, but if it's meant to show to people that are never going to be in one of these lobbies what it's like, it would be nice to have a bit more context for those terms

Regain is self explanatory. Is how you “regain” yourself after going to the gulag mid to late game, SR is the points system for ranked and there’s no such thing as a VSAT in warzone. VSAT means “very small aperture terminal” it’s the transmit/receive of voice and video signals over a satellite communications network.

They already are. There are cheating discord servers out there. I talked to a guy who got banned for cheating, and he confirmed that 90%+ of top 250s are indeed cheating.

Camping or slower gameplay is a relative common thing. When people care more about the end result, they will be more strategic or cautious. In Fortnite, the top players in competitions will regularly not move much and don't pick unnecessary fights.

I’ve not really played since the early warzone 2 days. I have to say I kinda enjoyed the variation in strat levels. Sometimes I played solos or random quads/duos whatever. In those rounds I knew I was going to be pushed and would have to think forward. Other times I would squad up with friends (vastly varied skill level) and I knew those were going to be fun lobbies. An opportunity to try reckless, wild strats and pushes. Sbmm isn’t all bad. Or wasn’t.

Same. I had a silver game where I killed 2 guys with crimson emblems, and then proceeded to get absolutely slammed by an ex-world champion Halo player. I then decided to wait a couple weeks for those guys to get to their real ranks before I start my grind 😂

They should get rid of SR bonus' purely for placement. It promotes camping and gaining SR for nothing. They should keep placement SR. For top 3 only. Once they iron out the bugs - the $500 loadout weapons and the need to get rid of wild cards, the game will feel better. 8 attachment weapons for Ranked should also be banned. But going back, if they got rid of placement SR the game would be reliant on getting more kills to progress rather then "hiding" from the lobby waiting for others to die. So yes you can win with 2 or 3 kills but that wouldnt be enough to progress when you reach more competitive ranks past for e.g. diamond. I think the game would play much better that way.

Welcome to Ranked Warzone. The World Series operated in the same way. Ranked will never NOT have campers because that's how you could win, and it's a valid strat. That's why Metaphor is only ranked 14 in the world on Ranked and not number 1 because he is a content creator, so playing for the win isn't his forte. Then we have TTV Grits with the most amount of wins in the game, but he's nowhere to be seen on the ranked list. (Or I haven't found him yet.)

It extends your hitscan range way further than the reinforced barrel at the cost of maybe 1 bullet difference of ttk.

@@EL_N0IR_2201 hitscan means there’s no actual bullet projectile. The “bullet” hits immediately, exactly where you’re aiming. In cod, the hitscan range is the amount of distance the bullet would travel in 20ms. On the model l for instance, without attachments, you have to lead your shots if you’re shooting farther than 16 meters. If you put overpressured and gain twist on, you don’t have to lead shots for 31 meters, and then, you have to lead them less than you would without the bullet velocity attachments.

No one plays urzikstan in Australia anymore. Every time I actually get queued into a game, it goes from 78 players down to 40 players in the pregame warm up before the game actually starts (anticheat maybe???). The last 2 games I played were quads with my whole team being booted before the game started and me solo winning in a 30-40 player lobby. Perhaps it was one of those sbmm experiments, or COD just wants to put me against console only players because I have submitted at least a 1000 cheating reports over the last 12 months. There are numerous rebirth island lobbies though, with cheaters... and sometimes without. Player base as taken a significant hit recently across all warzone maps and modes, probably because of vpn restrictions. Most of my lobbies were previously probably filled with Asian VPN'ers. People should still be able to vpn if they are on console.

Honestly I’m a firm believer that SBMM doesn’t exist at all like everyone thinks it does. I’ve done testing of my own towards the end of MW3 warzone and my account was at a 1.58 K/D with a total of 16 wins the whole length of MW3 WZ, so I didn’t play a single game for 5 days after having several negative K/D games in a row prior to the 5 days and my very first game on in solos I got put in with 3 streamers. Speros (4.5 K/D), IcemanIsaac (4+K/D) and Magoo who has a 7.64 K/D. Obviously all 3 are on a entirely different skill level as me and I get thrown in with them in my first game after 5 days and several very poor games in a row. If you load up in a game at the same time as someone else regardless of their skill you’re more than likely gonna be in a game with them. Theres not enough players these days to have a SBMM. It’s all about who you que up with.
