Most interesting game and Commentry I have ever seen in my entire chess search. I have been searching for the approach to learn chess for decades and this is the best.

What a game, if only I could play like that! Beautiful style of play that I would love to be able to play, but how your going to teach us this in a lesson is another thing, however if anyone can, I'm sure you'll give it a go 👍

Amazing game indeed! You can't play like him tomorrow obviously. Please start with my series on Learning to Sacrifice.

This game speaks volumes to your "Art of Awakening Pieces" course... black being able to get e4 in, by sacrificing material to clear the obstructing white pawn, blew the entire game open for him. Great video, Dr. Can, thanks!

Absolutely, I was thinking of that course too :)

Great game! 👍 My own most satisfying wins as black are with Kings Indian and Modern Benoni. So dynamic openings with many tactic possibilities.

Great 👌 game was happy I found bishop to f5sac to activate kid bishop,I didn't have chess books when I started chess, for a very long time I played chess by solving or creating ideas on my own,it helped my creativity,I think when one starts chess there should be no books just play for awhile, thinks it helps to tap a creative side 💯👋

Great game and analysis! The hardest part for me was the decision to allow Nxa8. And that he seemed totally unfazed by the two passed pawns!! The self-fork was magnificent, but you could see it coming because of the take back of Nf3. Obviously, if you did not analyze the game I would not have "seen" any of this. 😀

Thank you! Yes, it is easier to see all this when you watch a video on creativity :)

Wow, what a game... Pre ordered the book due to be released Nov 15 based on this game... Also have Ivanchuk's book coming on Nov 1.... The Ivanchuk vs Topalov game, Sicilian Defense, Novgorod 1996 had so many tactical themes, think you reviewed it also... Seen so many good games and ideas today my brain is fried; will take me a week to ten days to "try" and sort it all out... The Chess for Life book also looks interesting... Was looking at lists of top games you should know...suggestions? Maybe i'll start my own list... Anyway, great game review...

Great! Hope you will like the books. Ivanchuk is great and very creative too! You can start your own list I believe, otherwise keep an eye on the instructive chess classics series on this channel.

Incredible game, I believe I have seen this in Jonathan Rowson’s Chess for Zebras. Are you familiar with his work? You two seem to speak about chess very similarly and I believe you would greatly appreciate his thoughts about the game of chess

I thought of him too! I think they are good friends. Of course I am familiar with his work. A deep thinker indeed.

I have watched other chess channels in the past, some big names including Grandmasters, and none of them can teach a player at my level (1150) like Dr Can.

"Always be careful to avoid the horribly embarrassing pawn fork." "And?" "And what?" "Well this is chess. So no doubt there's an exception to that tried and true nugget of wisdom? Wait...wait just a minute sir! I swear to God if you're about to tell me some nonsense like a backing into a self-inflicted p-ork needs to be on my radar...you best be ready to run for your life." 😡
