When I called to complain about my house insurance and my car insurance going up yet again I was told oh that's Texas it's across the board. But Texas deregulated it back in 2003. So it's on the insurance companies not the state. And when I called to find out what was going on with TDI they told me that the insurance companies raised rates between 35 and 300% this year

Our home insurance annual premium went up 60%, read that again, 60% YoY in April. Our Car insurance (2-Cars) went up 22% in April YoY. It's the cumulative effect of inflation that the Democrats don't want you to remember. They are beating the drums that inflation is coming down from 9% in June 2022. This ignores the cumulative effect since OBiden came into office. While inflation has fallen considerably from a peak of 9.1% notched during June 2022, it remains well above the Federal Reserve's 2% goal.
