If you consistently take out 2-3 enemies each round I'd say you have a pretty big impact on the outcome. I don't care how much "impact" you think you're having but if you can't win a 4 vs 3 or even 4 vs 2 without your top frag then you're just getting carried.

My favourite sequence of events on mirage that I get constantly: - Go to B apps for a default to try and get an entry and maybe force rotates if the bomb is nowhere near me. - a team mate stomps up behind making a ton of noise. - team mate proceeds to hold van from back of apps or hides in the kitchen while I get an engagement and probably die because so much noise was made I lose any advantage of surprise and I'm too impatient to go do something else. - team mate 'bro why you die' runs back to t spawn or underpass.

what Voo doesn't realise about EU faceit is everyone is a stat padding baiter and if you go first its a 75% chance your team will: A) bait you on the execute without trying to trade and then rotate B) scream at you for going alone even though your tm8 has thrown their util or dino stomped all the way through b aps on mirage 😂 EDIT: After reading comments, I forgot that your team will give you bad info too, if you get anyone on your team with a mic. Then you always get that one smart kid who thinks he knows where the last guy is coming from and will randomly call a position and then you die in the back

I think I'm probably the opposite case. I think I'm ranked higher than my skill lvl (7) I have good games but I think my biggest contribution is getting the team to gel. Breaking up fights and getting them focused on the next round. Granted it's impossible sometimes.

When I played counterstrike for CAL I wasn't paid to play like I had aimbot. I was paid to play consistent, smart, and flexible. I wasn't the best at anything, but my team knew exactly what they got with me. I wasn't robotic, and I grew with me peers. But I was very. Very. Consistent, and the reliability made it easy to slot me into certain maps and lineups against certain teams. Being the best isn't the only option. Being good at what you do is also effective. Make sure your fundamentals are JACKED and you'll be semi pro on no time.

usually when you're solo on a bombsite the "when the options are fairly similar" requirement isn't met, but yeah to some extent you're right. look, i'm not saying "play more aggro lul" is *optimal* gameplay, however there's a reason top puggers typically play very aggro - playing more aggro means you have more impact, and more impact means less variance.

If he plants, wait for team to get closer before we start retake. If i have ak i would either do the same just jump spot banana and not hold before i got info on can be ct. Or i would start pushing down on banana and hide post or logs and hold. I'm slow and have bad aim so I always avoid making direct confrontation. To counter the problem, I do 3 things: 1) avoid using popular hiding spots, I always pick a spot people often overlook. unless someone is hard clearing me, I can get a jump on them and at least hurt someone. 2) play around the smokes and molotov. burn away spots you have trouble clearing, use your opponents' smokes against them. silvers rarely spam through smokes anyway so it should be safe. deny a plant, stop the rotation, these can be done if you're used to smokes. 3) forget the strats, focus more on utility. throw flashes when the team is entering the site, molly some paths to slow down your opponents, smoke dangerous spots to protect the team. let the team do the fight, focus more on providing supports.

If you que with a stack and your team is very unbalanced in terms of rank, the loss/gains in elo are smaller than in solo. You can see your elo, how much you need for the next level, and how much you -/+ per game on the faceit website version of the client.

I just started playing faceit and am level 4/5 I have had multiple times (3) where i stomp a few games and then have games where I have 30-40 kills with no teammates above the 12-15 range; these games. Faceit not factoring in performance to elo gain/loss and only looking at the win/loss is absolutely terrible

These videos demotivate me because I'm Still at level 5. But then again I remember I only play like 1 faceit match every 2 Months. I honestly dislike the faceit system so damn much. I was a pretty high level (9) then started to play free with some silver and nova friends and we got rekt hard. I think I went all the way down to lvl 2 or 3. And now I'm stuck because I constantly lose because of unbalanced teams. Faceit should have a rank reset every year or so and make you play 5 matches to get an initial rank Same for MM btw. The concept of everyone starting at level 3 on faceit also doesn't make the slightest sense

i feel i could be a higher rank, currently level 6 i believe, i have only 1 consistent friend who is on every day, another friend who comes on maybe once every 2 days and leaves us playing 3 minimum games a day, usually in q with me and my friend, with 5 stack it will be a lot easier to grind
