oh my god i can't believe you got someone as famous as voocsgo to feature in one of your videos. I heard he's an asshole though... I saw voocsgo at a grocery store in Los Angeles yesterday. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didn’t want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for photos or anything. He said, “Oh, like you’re doing now?” I was taken aback, and all I could say was “Huh?” but he kept cutting me off and going “huh? huh? huh?” and closing his hand shut in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw him trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen Milky Ways in his hands without paying. The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Sir, you need to pay for those first.” At first he kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter. When she took one of the bars and started scanning it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to scan them each individually “to prevent any electrical infetterence,” and then turned around and winked at me. I don’t even think that’s a word. After she scanned each bar and put them in a bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by yawning really loudly.

I think the most concerning thing about this whole series is that it's free. A lot of players had to grow up learning these disciplines themselves over the 1.6/source era, watching demos and scrimming. The fact this level of content is now available for free is just ridiculous. Nice one voo.

I don't really understand why you underestimate mm so much. Iv'e been playing faceit lvl 8 & supreme on main. But I feel no difference whatsoever between ranks and platforms very often. (except for server quality obv) I get people doing full executes with good flashes on mg1 & I get people not flashing on faceit lvl 8 and the other way around. It's really random imho. Can't just not ''expect'' them to flash on lower mm ranks.

On CT side, it is for area denial. Example for CT side: 1. You are A anchor on Mirage, and you see execute smoke coming in. You can throw incrediary at either of their entrance (palace or ramp), and focus your aim on the other entrance. 2. You are contesting banana, you throw deep molly to prevent T from mid to enter banana, then flash in to clear Ts in front of the fire. (see videos on banana control) 3. You have long spawn on Dust2, you run long and molly long doors. This makes it harder for Ts to contest long control. (see video on long control) 4. It is late round on Inferno, you throw incrediary at one of chokepoint (banana or top mid). This helps to drain time down. On T side, it is for clearing angle and get rid of defending position. Example for T side: 1. You are contesting banana control, you molly car so your team do not have to worry about AWPer peeking car. 2. You are executing A site Mirage from ramp, you bounce molly to clear under platform. Important point: 1. The purpose of molotov is not to deal damage. Hence, you should not measure it from utility damage on scoreboard. 2. Molotov can only be used for chokepoint or to clear small space. It can't be used, for example, to clear pit on Dust2.

@@sieevansetiawan4792 Good points, I usually molly those. One problem is sometimes even at nearest to B spawn at Inferno I can't get to banana fast enough to block T from entering it, so lately it's been a close molly just behind boost wall...

@@tappajaav Of course you can't copy the team plays that pros do or their mechanics, but just looking at things like their positioning, how they peek and when they throw their nades can still be very useful. There really is not much skill difference between silver 4 and gold nova 4. I was silver 2~4 for 1 whole year. Then after I decided I wanted to get better I needed 1 month to go from silver 4 to Master Guardian 1. You just need to put in the work, there is no other way. If it's not fun to aim pracc and watch better people play, then don't - nobody is forcing you to play a video game. But it's the only way to improve, you can't just play and expect to rank up (fast).
@damonbrown1414

@@MultiGoban agreed. I've only in the last month started quasi practicing and already started rising. My biggest problem is with a family I only get limited game time so I typically choose to just play with my friends vs spend that time practicing, but now when buddies cant play I do practice and it's improved a lot... so really I blame my wife for me being silver 🙃

I am curious as to if this is actually true; but at around 9 mins in to this video and in some other videos you make assumtions as to how ppl in matchmaking will play. Here it is that it is unlikely that flashes will come when a B take comes in inferno. On the dust 2 examples it was unlikely that they will hit you throught door and on inferno the awper will probably not make the shot on to you unless he is cheating when you are running past mid with the top three ct spawns. I love these kinds of videos... but is NA MM really that low tier at dmg-lem ranks? In northern EU MM this will happen almost every game at least a few times. Maybe players in northern EU is just better but.. not that much better right?
@vooCSGO
@vooCSGO 3 жыл бұрын
through the door when crossing on D2 you might be thinking of an older video or there's something else to it because people definitely get hit crossing with no smoke pretty often at any rank i've seen recently part of the issue might be the specifics that i'm not delving into in these spots. yeah people flash over banana a decent amount, however as the clock gets kind of late people are pretty bad at holding onto their utility, and when people do flash over B their flashes have a strong tendency to not be acted upon quickly. people tend to throw a flash then run in after the flash is almost entirely gone and you can shoot back anyways. with the crossing mid thing this is pretty confusing to me. it's not like "this doesn't happen in low rank MM", but more like I've played hundreds/thousands of hours at the top ranks of pugs and people just don't really hit that (like.. very rarely) if you don't run across with your gun out or you strafe across instead of jumping or you're not 30 seconds late or something. I'm not sure on that one if people are just crossing like idiots and not realizing, or there's actually something missing. it's possible it has to do with most NA players playing on 40+ ping but that doesn't feel like it'd be the issue. it's also possible that some people actually just post up with their crosshair waiting for someone to jump across because in a certain rank or region people never awp peek down middle. that's the only other explanation that came to mind. personally I can hit people that run across without jumping but nobody does, and I can hit people that jump across if i'm fully posted waiting specifically for the jump across and not expecting an awper to peek me at all. I've also got somewhat above average reactions (180ms~) so I don't think that should necessarily be the rule either. the response to that comment really just isn't something I know the explanation to.
@markusfiskerton5630
@markusfiskerton5630 3 жыл бұрын
@@vooCSGO Ah, ok, thanks for elaborationg. Sounds like it is pretty similar to here (excluding all the co-ordinated 4-5mans that for some reason still are playing MM around here). That mid thing on inferno is interesting tho, and I do think you are on to something with the later explanation. Because as ranks go up people tend to shy away more from peeking from top mid down to T-stair/ramp (instead doing those safer mid peeks first/2nd angle), and that then opens up the possibility as you say for the T's to just not expect an awp and instead post up on the angle for the jumpers. Obviously it is impossible to like make some propper reaserch on the matter but it is never the less interessting to think about. Thanks again, and thanks for making these type of videos.
