I liked the amount of screen time they got in the latest film, but I think the third movie should shift the focus to the humans being the villains and launching a full scale invasion of the Hollow Earth with Mecha KIng Ghidorah commanding an army of Titan Hunter robots. This would be a truly emotional and heart wrenching film, just imagine an Avatar-style massacre of the Iwi village and Mecha killing Shimo to truly establish him as a threat.

Definitely want a more Godzilla focused film, here's some aspects I'd hope to see: - Godzilla focus. - Giving a more dynamic emotional range to Godzilla, as seen in G2014 and KoTM. - More world building lore that goes back to Godzilla's past, what happened to his kind and how he came to be the apex representation of his species. - Godzilla Jr, been saying it for years, but between showa and heisei Godzilla's personality showed a lot of change and development when he had another of his kind to look after. Plus in the end credits of KoTM, it was stated that Monarch had toyed with cloning Titans at some point, what if there was a stunted Godzilla clone that was kept in cryo for research, but was either let lose in an attempt for some rouge variable to try to bait Godzilla, or it escaped due to some glitch with the cryo or another Titan targeting the facility. (now that i think about it, the clone angle has never been used for a Godzilla Jr/Minilla/Minya story) - More mysterious atmosphere for certain sequences, I know it's possible to do so without heavy fog or stormy weather so viewers can see what is going on with the monsters or humans. - Have animal body language and facial expression drive the Titan led exposition scenes, they did this really well in GxK with the Great Apes. I know it's harder to do that with reptiles, but we have seen Godzilla be very expressive in the Monsterverse a multitude of times. Gotta remind folks, Godzilla isn't just a big angry lizard.

I think future movies should have multiple parts so that the plot and lore isn’t rushed and especially if you want the villains to feel like world ending threats for Godzilla and Kong. Killing off each villain during one movie will not make the audience feel scared for the monster verse, and we could be left with seemingly the villains winning.

Completely agree with you! KotM was one of the most emotional/mentally thrilling Godzilla movie for me since you actually felt sad when Mothra died, you actually felt hopeless when Ghidorah dropped Godzilla, and you actually felt emotionally connected to the characters enough to feel really, really cheerful when Godzilla got his thermonuclear form, I really do miss the emotional stakes for the monsters because now it just feels like they'll always win and its not really a challenge.

Doesn't necessarily mean that their extremely connected to the characters. Tell me, did you feel any sense of urgency or emotion with the new empire? I believe that the next sequel should or could be another solo film where it's about Godzilla's character arc of why he protects the balance of nature and his purpose of being a guardian (similar to dominion) to build up his development..... while facing a challenging monster that threatens the order such as Amhuluk who is spreading pollution and death across the ecosystems who's main goal is to claim the world as his domain, where godzilla must rise up (along with the help of mothra) to put a stop of this threat before its too late. Which i believe would be a good idea/concept and possible for the next film.... But even tho all is not yet revealed and we dont entirely know what's going to be added in this new film, let's wait and see what happens 🤔🤷.

After a while, Kong jumps down from a building or some hollow earth portal that sends him high into the air, landing on his feet in a superhero-monke-stance, followed by roaring to get some great apes then looking at Godzilla with a helpful smile of sorts. Mothra then flies onto Godzilla’s shoulder and telepathically tells him more help is coming, as Shimo slowly walks beside Godzilla, followed by Rodan landing a building in between Godzilla and Kong. They all then look at the *VERY POWERFUL* threat; Kong and his great apes getting into a formation of sorts, Shimo having a wider stance, Rodan’s eyes glowing a bit, Mothra shining brightly, and Godzilla glowing with great intimidation, then all of the Kaiju roar at the same time, ready for an All-Out War.

The next movie should be part 1. I think it would be awesome for the next movie to give a dark atmosphere with Godzilla having almost all the screen time except for one scene that shows Kong and Shimo hunting food for the Kong tribe. They return and show how Kong has made the tribe a thriving family, Suko could be a lot older and taller. Then the movie proceeds to introduce Spacegodzilla and Godzilla has to fight him and eventually retreats because he’s getting beaten. Spacegodzilla and other titans occupy earth. The ending shows Godzilla go down to hollow earth to ask Kong for help. Part 1 complete. Part 2 or 3 could lead up to Destroyah.

Honestly yeah, do solo movies focusing on the other titans besides Godzilla or Kong. They were doing that earlier on in the monsterverse plus I'm pretty a mothra solo movie can stand on its own same with Rodan. Add some new monsters within the movie they can fight maybe even connect it to a prequel movie or an existing like KOTM. That or do a animated movie that's connects to the monsterverse as a whole. But I pretty much agree with all your points. - More Godzilla focused especially developing him as a character and seeing more of his backstory. - A new villain who is bigger and more badder than Skar King. One where he really gives Godzilla a run for his money but brings out the best in him. Also there should be more lore being explored and I definitely want to see Rodan again. And have him and Godzilla become buddies like in the old Showa Era movies. Maybe Anguirus? Who knows? I really want this movie to be more emotional and heavy. I’m not expecting Minus One levels of heavy but it’s own type of heavy. Hopefully we can get the right balance of both Humans and Monster scenes. Not to mention seeing Godzilla doing some soul searching of his own. And being completely different yet kind of similar to what Kong went through. Where Kong has finally gained a new home and new family and friends. Godzilla is still alone and he’s only known pain and loss. That would be a good contrast, and maybe we could get Godzilla Junior? I have a whole idea of what I want the entire movie to be about, but seeing as a whole plot and everything made by a fan probably isn't gonna happen, I'll just share my main desire: I want the monsters to feel EPIC again. Who didn't smile with glee and become 12 again when Godzilla roared after defeating the MUTO in Godzilla (2014)? And who didn't laugh out loud with the pure embarrassing ridiculousness of what they were seeing when Godzilla charged up at the end for that "BiG ePiC aToMiC bLaSt" in GxK? Who? The monsters haven't felt truly epic, awe inspiring, cool, for lack of a better synonym, since literally the first movie, and they were PERFECT in that movie! It's not even just that they felt big. The way they were viewed made them purely AWESOME. I want that feeling again. I want to want to scream with not merely amusement, not even just joy, but with the overwhelming awesomeness of what I am seeing. Please, Monsterverse. Please.

Godzilla is fighting something really strong, (like, amped Ghidorah combined with biollante and 30% of Spacegodzilla strong) and then he does an alpha call of sorts. The titans hear it, but the main ones being Mothra, Kong (and his great apes), along with Shimo and/or rodan

The current novel did say that the military and people are getting fed up with the Titans, so maybe they are going to Hollow Earth to try and eradicate them (before someone says no, remember that they were capable of creating the oxygen destroyer, so it's a possibility). To add even further, Monarch confirmed that the portals are only accesible to a human if a Titan passes through with them. Last time I checked, Godzilla left a big ass hole in Hong Kong, let that sink in...... But yeah, Godzilla solo movie and Kong solo movie.

I think the word you guys were looking for was tragic we may end up seeing our Godzilla fighting a bad Godzilla just like how we got Kong Fighting scare king I think they will use space Godzilla and they might make it a prequel but also sequel having scenes from the past where SpaceGodzilla and Godzilla interacted in some way and scenes from the present were they have a final show down

They should do Destoroyah, Biollante, Space Godzilla, OR the monster from Godzilla 2000 and have it ingest Shimo, like it tried to in Godzilla 2000. One of those 4 i think would be awesome. This will also allow them to introduce Aliens into it i.e. Ghidorah, and bring MechaGhidorah back into the monsterverse.

I'd love to see a dark Godzilla centric film, where Godzilla has to deal with the military forces of the world who are seeking retribution against him for all the destruction he has caused to human civilization, and also seeking to exploit the hollow earth for it's natural resources, which could in turn bring them into conflict with other titans as well, maybe we could see Godzilla assisting other titans in need like he did with Na KiKa in Dominion, showing that in spite of his indifferent demeanour, he does have a somewhat kinder side to his personality. Towards the end, you could bring in Kong if you want, but his role should be alot smaller in this hypothetical film, and lastly, this one is a doozy, I want to see Godzilla transform into Super Godzilla ( lol), I think its about time he left the videogame world and enter the cinematic one!!!!!!!!!

I wish that Toho didn’t make the decision that Godzilla can be the only one of his kind, I liked how the Early Monsterverse treated Godzilla as part of an entire species.

Yeah I've never liked that concept. Aside from Dagon being another member of his kind shown in the 2014 film, Godzilla being the only one is strange since there were other individuals of Godzilla's species in Toho's films (mostly his adopted sons).

Adding multiple Godzilla's ruins the concept of Godzilla. Instead of being a unique kaiju and a singular force of destruction, he becomes just another random creature, with no significance other than he's currently the one on screen.

GXK 3 movie could either show Megalon and the Seatopians as the villains or we could see Xilien aliens, Planet X, Mecha-King Ghidorah, Gigan, Monster Island, bring back Mothra for a bigger role, bring back Rodan, Godzilla Jr. and Maser Ships, Cannons and Tanks.

I absolutely agree that I’d love to see a return to the “dark” tone of the early monsterverse, and a Godzilla focused film is on my bucket list. But I also don’t really want much in the way character development for Godzilla nor would I care for the idea of giving him a stronger adversary to overcome. To me, Godzilla (in the monsterverse at least) is not a character with an arc, but a force of nature. A god, returning from slumber to shake the earth and assert dominion over lesser creatures. In 2014, my favorite monsterverse film, the presence of Godzilla is impactful because he is the ultimate power. The mutos are huge and terrifying to us, but to Godzilla, they are bugs to be squashed. Hand in hand with this is a focus on human characters, which is something I’d also like to see return. When Godzilla is not the protagonist, but instead an unstoppable force of nature, those invites the story to show the perspectives of the people affected by these titan battles, and give true gravity to the destruction which is something you guys mentioned. If these elements could be used as effectively as Garett Edwards used them, while preserving the fun monster action of the Wingard movies, I think we’d have a great film on our hands that would satisfy a wide range of fans. Great video guys, love hearing these discussions!

heres what I would like for the next film. be Godzilla Focused and not Kong Focused. add Godzilla (2014) dark tone + Godzilla: Minus One's horrific attributes make Godzilla horrifically terrifying again. add Godzilla: King Of The Monsters tribute to The Godzilla Franchise with its music, references, animal sounds and rich history. add in a composer that does God like music like old favorites such as Godzilla: King Of The Monsters music composer Bear McCreary or Hans Zimmer and add in that extra juicy Toho Music on the side it would be awesome to hear those old tunes again in the big screen! Add in a villain that is a world ending threat unlike Scar King and let it be a Toho monster like Megaguirius, Battra, Kumonga, Gigan, Headorah, Biollante or even Space Godzilla and NOT Destoroyah! (yet) add in human characters that are actually Interesting and enjoyable unlike GvsK's and GxK: The New Empire's charecters (except for Jia I liked her) and let out of the way when Godzilla is fighting a kaiju. Let the Movie be 2 hours and 20 minutes-2 hours and 40 minutes long. Let the Final battle be 15-20 minutes Long and unlike GxK's final battle which was quite disappointing in my opinion let the final battle let it be very VERY entertaining and the list goes on.

I think a good way to increase the tension is to have the humans realize that some of the titans are mutating further, or they notice that Godzilla is losing his grip on the throne for some reason. Most of the bad guys have been threats from Godzilla's past, so having current titans somehow get stronger because of some shift in the Hollow Earth or maybe this shift creates an entirely new threat somehow. I feel like future movies will probably have Godzilla and Kong. Any solo ventures with Mothra or Rodan would probably do better as shows, but they're most likely gonna just be involved with Godzilla and Kong in some way if they show up at all. There's also always that prequel lol

what would be cool is to see like the devil titan of the monsterverse. since Godzilla is supposed to be "god" in this universe, they could introduce either destorya as the "devil titan" or a completely new world ending titan if they can't get the rights. overall i would like to see Godzilla and the others have a struggle with one big bad titan

I would honestly love to see a more Godzilla focused movie with the tone of the 2014 film, but with the combat of the newer films. And I definitely agree about there being more of a connection with the films, like how the MCU did building up to Infinity War and Endgame. I think if they keep stuff like this in mind as they make new films or shows like Monarch: Legacy Of Monsters, I think it'll definitely help the Monsterverse in the long run IMO.
