I love how you prevent your opponents from going for mechanical plays. I always wondered why your games in gc look easier than mine. But finally I came to realization what the reason behind it is actually. This challenge helps me a lot and your commentary makes this even better. I‘d also love to see you playing dead serious in a gc lobby. Not to just destroy your opponents which is obviously gonna happen, but to show us how we are actually supposed to play ideally and when to go for certain mechanics. Keep it up champ!

very true, i became a better player when i realized that the way i play affects how my opponents play. when i play bad the opponents seem like such good players and it gets tilting but if i'm locked in and pressure them properly the same rank can look so easy

I'll never forget back in the day I played a ranked competitive MLG match with Ogre1 and Ogre2 on my team in Halo. At the end of the game one of them added me and when I asked why he said although my stats weren't the best he liked my comms and how I didn't complain during the game like other people. That right there kept me motivated to keep having a positive mindset and let's just say towards the end of Halo 3 I had a pretty solid friendslist.

I've played RL for quiet a long time and im C2-C3 atm, but i cant wrap my head around airroll left/right. I play only with the 'normal' airroll and i feel good with it. Is it worth it to invest the time to learn airroll left/right? And thanks for the awesome series! Love to watch and learn

I think it's worth learning, but it'll take a long time to undo all of your habits/muscle memory, so you have to ask yourself if you feel that's worth it. You'll likely derank. I have a friend that is stuck c3/gc1 and I think he's slightly limited by neutral air roll. You just have way more control of your car for aerials, recoveries, etc. Rolling is one less input on the left stick so you can just push air roll and roll left/right and use the left stick to continue to make more minor adjustments.
