When they got scored on @ 6:25 that was 1000% Squishy’s fault. He would never even think about going for that ball in a tournament setting and it would be impossible for Garrett to know if he is going for it anyway. Personal experience (I was hardstuck d2 last year for a while), the main difference between champ and diamond is boost management, field placement and play reading. you nail those youll easily pass diamond :)

Not sure if it's just me. But I always notice when you play with Garrett that you're sorta critical of his play choices in a way that you aren't with other people you queue with. When you play with others you usually try to put yourself in their shoes and make like their mistakes aren't much of anything. Usually like "nice try from Wondamike, I can see what he was going for but he kinda got beat there. But that's understandable. He had no choice." or "nice try from Gimmick"... but when Garrett does something you don't like it's way more obvious that you have an err of criticality and even passive-agressiveness. Like when Garret reset and scooped it up you're like "well that was somethin'." or there's a point in game one where you expect Garrett to turn on a ball and he doesn't and he backs off and you're like "oh he backs off... fair enough" or you say "Garrett should go here" and the only other time I ever hear you choose to comment in such a way is when you are solo-queuing and get paired with someone who you feel is not playing to your liking. Even the commentary on Garrett's choice to pre jump certain plays you're like "it looks cooler... which is one thing that can be agreed upon" which is lowkey a passive aggressive diss. Like, you're basically calling his tendency to pre jump as being nothing more than trying to look cool. And I see this style of critique usually only come from you when you're critical of the role that person is playing against how you want the game to be played. Which to me, is one of your biggest weaknesses as a player. You want the game to be played to your tendencies and to your liking. And when others choices conflict with your view of the play. It completely throws you off the plot. And rather than adapting or improvising to what they're doing in a proactive and creative way. You really have this "okay I'll do this, but I shouldn't have needed to do this because you should have done this" attitude toward having to play a certain role to the game that is in front of you against the game you want tailored to how you see the game should be played. I've been wanting to say this for a while now. Because I've honestly not seen any growth in your play or playstyle for ages now. And I think it's time maybe you look at your own playing tendencies and admit that how you see the game. Isn't how the game is. And I think that is really harming NRG as a whole. Justin is depressed as hell... Garrett is always doubting himself... and if you're bringing this philosophy of wanting outcomes to be as you see them. That's a recipe for team spirit killer. Step up brother. You're holding your team back. It's time to change your playstyle and your mindset. You're not as good as you think you are anymore Squishy. And try maybe looking like you care when your team scores in RLCS. And not looking miserable when you're down.
