I love this. I sat and looked deeply into each photo, and tried to imagine being there in that moment in time, feeling the sun beating down on me, hearing chatter and laughter coming from the kids, maybe a squabble, cause one had more space than another (haha). Thanks for such a delightful video. 😘😘

Reminds me of an old movie I saw, Cheaper by the Dozen with Clifton Webb and Myrna Loy. A wonderful movie!

Families of French, Italian, and Irish had very large families of at least 12 to 16 kids. Those with 3 or 4 used BC quietly and often were well to do.

From a family of 14, this all is no big thing to me. Was fun though.

Car seats were not a thing until the 1980's really. Late 70's some people would have them, but it was new and few did. I came home from the hospital in a special card board box from the nursery. They used them as a bassinet in the nursery, then sent you home in it. It was actually quite nice. Pretty, with cute baby stuff like ribbons printed on it. I used it for my baby dolls growing up. My nieces and nephews never had car seats either. But no cute box for them either. By mid 70's they were not a thing any longer. Lol

I was born in 77. I was brought home in the detachable pram box (don't know the name of it, the bit where you put the baby could be detached from the metal wheel bit).

I like your topics but the endings of almost all of them, including this one on 13 kids in a 1925 automobile, end on the wrong note. It's as though I might summarize by saying, "SO WHAT?" The ends are not rounded out with a cogent point. In summary, or the point is, or in conclusion, or would you know that today, we see..." Please work on your endings!!! :-)
