EIN stands for "Employer Identification Number." If you open a US bank account and rent a PO Box in the US, you can establish a 'company', which could (and in Massachusetts DOES) cost money. So if you're Canadian, you can start losing money before you even sign up with MAKE Wellness!

Wow. That's a lot of stuff to do to just "get ready" to be able to be an affiliate...MAYBE in a year! Applying for and obtaining and EIN is free. (employer identification number, which is a tax ID number for a business entity like and LLC or corporation.) But a post office box isn't free. And a bank account is probably not free. There would probably be a minimum balance required to keep the account open, and probably fees, especially if it has a small balance and no real activity happening in the account. UGH! What a huge waste of time and money!!

These Canadians need to be careful. Im not a tax expert by any means, but the US is one of the only countries in the world that taxes worldwide income. Id be concerned that, if they have a US bank account and an EIN. I assume they may need to get a TIN and that could lead to the US IRS coming for taxes on any future income they make, even if they got a 9 to 5 job. I have a friend who has never even lived in the US, is not a US citizen but, because he had to file US taxes once, he still has to report the income he makes in his home country (Germany).

I knew the scammy side when I didn’t wanna be a seller for Young Living but just liked the products. And I met our Crown Diamond at the from my upline. And she wanted to put a team not just a person but a team of about 50 ppl and I was like why I did the math and she would of gave up about 10,000 to give me 5,000 but then found out if she did that she would of gone up to the top top and get a huge bonus. I felt icky and really didn’t want it as a business and that’s when I left.

In the US the EIN (Employee Identification Number) is on tax forms. It’s how the IRS tracks employer benefits, wages, and withholding. Not sure how it works with self employed (those filing form 1099) individuals. The fact that it’s called an Employer number should be a wake up call: you’re not a business owner, you’re an employee.
