Even though I live in North Carolina I have never been to Elizabeth City. A cute little town, about the correct size. I am a country boy living in a big city. I was a sailor mainly on the big lakes of NC.i have become a kayaker and have learned how to surf the darn things. Someone once told me that a kayak was too difficult and that I was too old, and that and three years proved them to be incorrect. Have fun, sail in high winds with a reef, until you learn how to do it. One day you might get caught out like in a sound the one you just did. I am glad that you were successful because it is notorious for sudden dramatic wind increases.

Nice vid, if you have a furling jib get rid of those reef lines. You jib will furl smoother and less ware on it

If there's a piece of equipmenthat I have to service a lot . I put a ball valve where the oil plug is. And a hose leading outit. And I put the plug on the end of the hose. Makes oil changes easy.

Yes it is, and it does work. However it is a wifi only unit which is kind of odd. And it only works with apple products or a very specific chart plotter. So we don't use it right now. It's a furuno drs4w
