@@paulhancock crazy I was literally saying with to my brother while playing Insurgence Sandstorm last night. Never been really that mil shooter guy but for the last couple of months I’ve been going crazy on Insurgency, Hell let loose, and Arma. The markets been so saturated with arcade shooters and BR’s just like you said that even people like my self that aren’t accustomed to these type of games are seeking out something new.

Once the novelty and repetitiveness of games like COD wear off - large-scale milsims like Arma 3 and Reforger open up a whole new experience and level of immersion. Sometimes the most memorable gaming experiences come from the most unlikely sources. Like a dozen players on the back of a transport truck all breaking into song while transferring to a new FOB. One of the funniest experiences - so much noise and laughing - and we survived an RPG attack on the way. The journey is just as important as the destination.

Cool stuff bro. Something to note on that coastal base Chotain assault is you can try to dismantle the radio and cut their coms and spawns. It's not the easiest thing to pull off, but it does force defenders to come out of their hiding spots or they risk losing spawns. Next update changes everything, but it's still good to know.

Also note you can only dig down the Radio relays when you are capturing a point.

i am a Frequent player on WCS and i have to say you have the most odd way to play the game rather than to drive you respawn and spawn on a new point i have no idea if it's your first time playing on here or anything but coordinate more with players. Everyone is up for it and open just got to ask than to complain about the team for the entire game :D

Before they patched supplies not accounting for spawns it was more economical to respawn and redeploy. Now it is fixed it is not, hence the way we did things

@@emoneytitan2667 the servers are realy bad for queue times atm because all these big KZbin are blowing the game up rn which is amazing and annoying at the same time, a lot of servers have multiple servers so sometimes easier to queue ina low queue one

I wish they'd fix VOIP or find a way to block Discord ingame. Being able to use Discord is definitely an exploit and if it wasn't for the piss poor ingame VOIP system (thx Sony) then using Discord could even be regarded as a cheat, but I understand why people do when you can blame using it because the ingame VOIP involuntary lights up your prescence to the enemy. ARMA is the best implemented milsim ever and using Discord instead of the radio system and proximity audio just destroys a whole chunk of the immersion and gameplay that sets ARMA apart from arcade FPS.

Reforger is a "testbed" for Arma 4?? Are Bohemia trying to pull some bullshit here? DayZ standalone was meant to be the testbed to build the new Arma engine, and they bought up the DayZ rights in what, 2015?? War is boring, and in fact, "boring" is subjective, I would say immersive, is cool when you know you're doing, and everything matters, unlike a CoD match. Btw I don't know if you tried, but I would suggest you to play insurgency sandstorm instead, it is more "arcadey" but remains realistic and tactical enough to change the gameplay perspective, is a nice start to get the vibes.

@@Bambeakz Not in that sense, but rather that normally you would be "just another soldier" there in the middle, planning, thinking, moving, and dying without even realizing where the shot came from. Not everyone survives long enough to understand the "shootout.", War is boring because it's not fair... Have you read or watched the movie (All Quiet on the Western Front)? Portrays this very well, and despite showing a lot of war in a raw and honest way, it is an anti-war film, it shows that war is not fun and games.
