Miscellania is on theme, and it's kinda useful since there are so few ways to get to the Fremenik area. Dondakan's rock is on theme but useless. Falador park is just... why? How is it associated with wealth? And it's totally pointless since it's five feet away from the vanilla Falador teleport.

In RS3 you can charge rings of wealth at the fountain in the hero’s guild. However, this update was never added to old school. That may be what you were thinking of with charging the rings

This series really highlights how much being able to use collective knowledge trivializes a lot of the game. I played back when osrs first came out and this like watching my old self play the game. There was some sites you could access information but nowhere near as in depth as the wiki or filled out. A lot of my knowledge came from running into people who helped me and explained mechanics etc. There really was essentially no efficient guides for any skills/training for years. You think early soup quest guides where bad? The older ones were text based and much worse and there was no video guides.

@@Gloomdrake it's absolutely, completely, really, really alright. like that's my genuine answer. i can't say it's good, but it's not bad either. people say it "resets your skills" but they don't understand the game, it's issue is that it just needs more QoL. like for some reason, they put the log storage chest in the carpentry room, and the plank chest near the level 0 trees. they should just both be in the carpentry room. it's just a lot of small, annoying things holding it back, and i'm not sure the devs will listen because the "well i had it hard so you should too 😤" people will tell them not to, and the "the game doesn't respect your time because it resets your skills" dumbasses makes listening to the community difficult. i hope they make it good, though

I presume you are talking about the monastery teleport. There is very low chance he ever finds that one out. For one, he likely doesn't know about the teleport in the first place. Second, he probably doesn't know/remember there is a fairy ring there. And if he knew both he still might not figure it out. I personally did not find it out myself, I always used the one in Edgeville until someone tipped me about the monastery, and I had knowledge of all the fairy ring locations and diary rewards available to me via the wiki
