I'm not. While good, actually very good, I still find it sterile and clinical compared to a vintage lens. I tried my wife's Porst 1.8/50 (Cosina made), a very modest and unassuming lens and I much prefer it's rendering. It's soft and gentle... Quite charming.

@@1kwords Voigtlander lenses my friend. Believe they make native Sony E mount lenses too. If you ever go back to manual focus lenses look into them. Modern lenses with a touch of vintage rendering flare (certain models especially but most of them have plenty of character). Edit: I only mention it because you talked about your wife's Porst 50/1.8.

@@AmateurPhotoginCNJ The Voigtlander 1.4/40 Nokton Classic is high up on my purhcase list. As for the native e-mounts... they're somewhat on the expensive side... I like my lenses under the $500 mark, the lowe the better.
